Saw it over a week ago, and I'm still talking/discussing/thinking about it... I think I need to see it a few more times. So you can say I'm a fan of the movie... :D

My brother went with a few friends yesterday. As soon as he got out, he was texting me to rave how good it was. The trailer didn't catch my attention, but now I'm very curious.

I am rarely as excited to see a movie as I am this one! I will def see this one at the theater. Every single person who has seen it has said it's just fantastic.

We watched it this weekend and I really enjoyed it. I didn't really have a hard time keeping up with reality vs. unreality on the surface (I'd heard some complaints about that). But thinking back over it for the "deeper meanings", I'm totally mind blown! Awesome movie and I'll definitely be watching it again when it is out on DVD.

i totally want to see this movie, maybe i will go see it this weekend. i LOVE LOVE LOVE leonardo dicaprio. not only is he a cutie, a good actor, he is also a environmentalist. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I agree. We usually just wait for movies to come out and watch them at home but our kids went to see this and said that it is a "must see in the theater" movie. :D:thumbup:

I really want to see this movie. I'm trying to talk my teen-age son into going with me. I think he will but only if we go to the next town so no one will see him!

I saw it last week & LOVED it!!
I wasn't that interested until my brother & SIL said it was great!!

On the other hand my other brother just thought it was ok & his wife hated it & wanted to leave half way! :eek:

Yes, different brother.
My SIL didn't like the sci-fi aspect. I really don't think she had a clue as to what it was about and just didn't like the concept. She didn't like the fighting in it.
My brother liked it, but thought it was just ok.

The other brother & SIL couldn't say enough good things about it!
I took my Mom to see it & I wasn't sure she would like it, but she loved it too!

FE! Lets go see it again. I missed the first 15minutes bc I was giggling... I know I know... But I feel that I missed some things throughout the movie too so I wanted to see it again. Kinda like the 6th Sense.

Ill buy the popcorn!

i LOVE 6th sense!!!

for some reason i thought it was a comedy before i watched the movie. and the whole time i was watching that movie, i waited for something funny to happen. (i waited for a long time! and nothing funny happened, duh!)

it's really odd to see a ghost movie when you thought you are watching a comedy. but yea, i watched that movie twice, loved it!

Highly recommend this movie and even so far as to say...spend $18 to see it in the IMAX!:thumbup:

I definitely want to see it at least two more times, if not more...

Interpretation is right! My Mother, brother, SIL & myself all saw things a little different!
Usually I like things to be nice and neat & cleared up at the end of movies, so I was surprised that I liked it so much!

I think I "got" most of it when I watched, but there's a few good explanation sites which explain it a lot better than I ever could. ;)

Resurrecting this thread, since I FINALLY saw Inception. I'm so behind the times.

Did it originally come out in 3D?

I liked it, didn't love it. I would definitely waste an afternoon watching it a few more times.

I saw it Sunday night. (I love the $1 theater!)

It had one of the best movie endings ever, IMO.

Did the top fall over, or didn't it? (I think it didn't.)

I think it was left open to interpretation, but my feeling is that it was about to fall. The significance was that Leo didn't bother to check.

My incontrovertible evidence, mostly stolen from other people: Leo saw his kids faces in the final shot, which hadn't happened before. Also, someone said that their clothes were slightly different.

My feeling is that it fell, because otherwise, all the people we met besides Leo have no significance. They would all just be projections of his subconcious, and that would be really lame, because we spent hours getting to know them. There would have been no purpose to the movie at all besides "Leo is really messed up."
