Oh Dani! :( I pray for you. Know how bad you loves Cody!! |

I'm sorry that you are going through this :( I am crossing my fingers that your dermatologist can rule out Cody as the cause... |
My DH has it pretty bad too. Tried feeding him coconut oil and applying it topically... worked better than anything he's tried so far. He's given up on prescription stuff, more a waste of money than anything. Add Psoratic Arthritis, diabetes, HBP, Gout, and depression! Praying it's not your pup! |
Okay everyone I went to my dermatologist and my allergist this week and I am very happy to announce it isn't Cody, actually both of them doubt its Cody at all, especially since this has only ever happened once to me and I've had Cody since November. I am allergic to the grass and pollen so my allergist said that it may or may not be the fact that I may be touching the grass, the fact that shoes track in the stuff and so does Cody when he comes from outside, also could just come from leaving the door open or from my clothes when I come from outside. My best bet is to stay from outside, wear gloves if needed, and stuff like that. Dog didn't show up in my allergy test so that is cleared :D I'm also on clobetasol propionate, which he says is the strongest medicine they have, and so far I haven't been on it a week and I see results (hopefully it will all be cleared by the time school starts up) as instead of being blisters they are bright red eye sores lol |
If your parents have Medical coverage for a Naturopath or Homeopath, try that route out as well. There is also yoga. Yes I know it sounds weird. But if you have closeby an Iyengar Yoga Studio with licensed teachers they may be able to help you with a practice geared to your condition. I'm so happy to hear your pup is not the cause |
It is aweful for the skin issues but thankfully not your baby that is at fault... |

One thing that has really helped my son and I with our various allergies - is to run one of those air purifiers at night in our bedrooms. I wake up a lot less stuffy if I run the air cleaner. AND the 'white noise' sound helps me fall asleep. Glad it wasn't your pup causing your problems. |
SO it sounds like if you litter box train your baby and can you spray some on him when he does come in to limit the pollen and such? I think there is some hope here!!! |
Glad to hear its not because of your pup :) |
