I used the book "what to expect while your expecting" That answered my questions and concerns. I did have heartburn late in pregnancy also. It was easier to sleep with a couple of pillows under my head. Also don't buy too many cloths for the baby after the birth. They grow so fast I remember I had so much. I could put the outfit on them and throw it away because I had so much. Mainly t-shirts, you go through a lot of those. and footed one piece pjs. When you hear that little heartbeat inside of you, WOW, it's amazing!!! Oh I also have a good tip for after the baby is born. I put a sheet on the crib then I put a waterproof pad, then a sheet then a waterproof pad. I did that about 4 times. The baby is going to spit up or leak through the diaper. Especially in the middle of the night. All you have to do is take the sheet off and the pad and viola you have a clean sheet for the baby. You definatly don't want to be changing sheets in the middle of the night. That sucks especially when you are tired. |
The crib sheet idea is fantastic! I'll use that one for sure. I already get up several times to go to the bathroom at night. The problem is, I wake up having to go, so I go, then I'm thirsty so I need a drink, so then I get up to go....and on and on and on. The poor pups aren't getting to sleep through the night anymore. I already have heartburn. Yesterday I bent over and the heartburn hit immediately. I was able to speak with the nurse today, she said to take 50 milligrams of B-6, so we'll see how that goes. Also, I feel like my brain is malfunctioning. If I think of something I have to either write it down or tell someone right away or I'll forget. Yesterday DH and I were doing a little shopping and he let me drive (mistake!). I drove right past the store we were going to without batting an eyelash. He had to mention that we wanted to go there for me to remember. |
