Arbonne.. anyone heard of it? If you use products like Bare Minerals, Clinique or Estee Lauder... I have a new product for you. I am selling Arbonne products now. They are da bomb!!! Contact me if you want me to come by (if we live close enough, MA or NH) and sit with a few people to explain the line OR if have tried them before and just want to order more!!! OR if you are interested in starting your own business and want to be in my network! The more the merrier! :) They have a baby line, teen line, sun care line, hair line, the ever-popular anti-aging line, cosmetics line, weight loss and nutrition and even a men's line!!!! Why did you girls leave them? Did something happen? Was it too hard to make money? Any info you can give me would be awesome! |
It wasn't easy to sell because of the price. My friends were the ones who mostly bought it. Then the economy went "sour" The other problem I had and why I gave it up last year, was if you notice sometimes your customer can buy something, like the bronzing powder, and get another product, in this case the Kabuki brush, for less than the regular price. However you will pay sales tax on the full price, but naturally can only charge your customer the sales tax on the price the customer pays. To avoid this, I filled in the form to request that I send the sales tax to the state, I had a tax number to do this. However for Arbonne to accept this, I would have had to pay them $100. It just wasn't worth it. I do love the Arbonne products, but it just wasn't worth it to me to be a consultant anymore. Also figure out you have to pay shipping charges and that is also subject to sales tax. |

I am in New Hampshire, we don't do sales tax here, not sure how Arbonne treats that but I REALLY appreciate your words! Im trying to figure out if this will work for me or not, so I love to hear others stories of why they did it and stayed with it, or did it and walked away. |
I don't want to discourage you because I totally believe in direct sales. After a few years of constantly rebuilding because I would lose rank, I gave up and found another one. It was too hard building and when things got rough, my sales slowed way down. So, everything I was working so hard for was just being taken away from me. I later found a company that would not penalize you if you had a bad month or 2. I worked that company 2 years and was making awesome checks, then they went out of biz. I was soooo disappointed! Oh wow... thanks for telling me that! I was afraid of that when I read you need to make 'goal' 2 out of 3 months. With the economy now too, people aren't spending on that kind of stuff right now. :( |
I LOVE Arbonne! The RE9 kit is AMAZING! But once I started school, I bought less and less because of the pricing. However, I will be the first to tell people that the products are wonderful!:thumbup: I still use their bronzers too! :) |
