What does "panda" mean? Not the bear. I see people on various forums referring to people as "panda". Gf? a cutie? what? |
Possibilities from the disreputable source Urban Dictionary: 1. A close friend that you tell everything to. Someone that is warm and friendly and always makes you feel better, hence the name panda. 2. Chubby girl with a cute face 3. Someone who limits their success in the world and risks elimination from the gene pool |
wth at #3? LOL! |
Seriously, what's up with #3? #1 I get, it's like -chan and -kun. Remember that Priscilla Chan-chan? |
I just report what I find. :p I think #3 has something to do with the panda being an endangered species that risks extinction because it is not very adaptable and has such special needs. Thus, a panda person limits himself to the point where he cannot survive in the world. |
Oh poor pandas. the bears I mean. |
I didnt know either..so i had to come read!! lol |

Oops, wrong thread. #1 does apply: "Someone that is warm and friendly and always makes you feel better, hence the name panda." |
Apparently, it's very difficult to get pandas to mate in captivity. The males don't show a lot of interest when female pandas go into heat, and I guess they don't really know how to get the job done - they often try mating with the wrong end. At least one zoo made a video for the male pandas showing them how to mate successfully. Yes, folks, that would be a panda porno. |

maybe they need to invent some panda viagra - I do know they are hard to mate and that's why each time one has babies it's such a big deal - they're sooooo precious looking |
I have never heard of this!...but I was a panda for Halloween a few years ago :) |
I think pandas need to have their bamboo shoots marinated in some garlic and chili oil, maybe that will get them in the mood. Plain bamboo is just gross, and that's all they eat! |
