Thank God they SAT me aisle or I would have JUMPED!!!! For everyone that told me Maximus would do fine on the plane and he would fall asleep to the sound of the engine....LIARS...LOL, Maximus barked and cried (the ear piecing, blood curdeling SHREAKS) for about 3 hours on the way to Cali, when we landed he peed in the bathroom for about 5 minutes..went and decided he was gonna pee on the carpet also and then pooped in the parking lot...LOL. I took the red eye last night which landed me in NY this mornign at 6:30 and I heard the SCREECHING AND BARKING for about 30 minutes~~ AGAIN everyone wanted to MURDER me...and then Maximus went to sleep for about 3 hours..the rest of the trip I had him on my lap until I got in trouble and then I let him lay in his carrier with his head hanging out which he didn't like but he liked it better then nothing....Let ME tell you, had I a window I would've jumped..it was sooo embarassing and loud, I really didn't know what to do...and as sad as it is to say Maximus will need a HEAVY duty prescription next plane ride and so DO I otherwise it is CARGO~~ I will even pay someone else to take him onboard...lol, so I don't have knives and daggers aimed at my back...lol!!! Cali was wonderful though and Maximus and Coco had a blast...Nobella and I think Maximus might be a little claustrophobic and that is why he was freaking out...he WALKED for 6 hours straight rather then get carried around...lol, and whenever we tried to put him in the stroller even after HOURS of walking he let out the blood curdeling SCREAMS...people must of thought we were abusing him...lol!! Anyways we had soo much fun this weekend ..... and I am sooo tired from the lack of sleep!! |
:) yay Sam your back!! sorry to hear about poor Maximus.... man really bad deal maybe ur rite he is claustrophobic!! eeeeeeeeek |
Wow, that is crazy how he acted, maybe it was just to strange and scary for him, I cant imagine how you felt.. I think I might of had to jump too. Now ya know how motheres feel when there kids are out of control.. lol Yes, I suggest some serious downers,,for the nest trip,,, either him or YOU! ha |
LOL....I was about to offer to buy EVERYONE on the plane headphones so that they could watch the movie and not hear Maximus' temper tantrum...it was soo bad!! REALLY!! |
OMG! I would have just died of embarrasement. Im sure people did want to kill you  . You poor thing. Well at least is all over now! |
well good thing is he held his pee and poo !!!! EVERYONE GIVE A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO MAXIMUS!! :) |
I feel SO guilty because I told Sam that the humming of the engines would put Maxi to sleep ....... sorry Sam! hehehehe :p |

POOR BABY AND POOR Passengers ....I'm sorry but I was laughing - I can just hear the ear piercing screams - Cheri would be just like that I bet.... Another idea maybe....do you think the Pressure hurt his little ears ? Could it have been that and maybe not a temper tantrum ? Although I know yorkies have them like no other breed I've seen....MY girls have FITS if I just put a gate up on them.....but could the altitude have bothered him ? Poor little guy - I bet he was scared and I would maybe get his ears checked - and next time - maybe a little mood mellower before you travel with him - my son has medication for his weiner doggies - they never make a peep.... |
I am sooo sorry, but as soon as I read your post I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. Lexi has not taken a trip on a plane since my mom brought her out to me in February. I think she was too scared to make a peep then. But, I can GUARANTEE you, that if I DARED to put her on a plane now, she would have the exact same reaction. I am going back to see my parents for Thanksgiving and Lexi will be staying with her daddy. I have no desire for her to be hysterical for 4 hours....nor do I have enough money to buy everyone "I am so very sorry" drinks on the plane! I know how she acts on the two mile jaunt to the vet, so I am assuming it would be 14 times as bad on the plane. Lexi demands to be held and loved and cooed over at all times, probably my own fault, but I always give in, she's just tooooo cute. Anyway, sorry to hear about your humiliating experience...but thanks for giving me the giggles here at work ;) |
Vilette...He started LONG BEFORE WE LEFT THE GROUND....lol, I called Judy so she could bear witness to the SCREAMING when I was boarded and WAITING to take off.....but yes he held pee and poo, although he ATE through the SHERPA bag that I bought him...the UGLY $100.00 Sherpa bag that I bought so he would be super comfortable and he hate the zipper in half on one side and through the screen ventilation at one side...he is a PERSISTANT little brat...and yes I was sooooo emabarassed...people were turning around intheir seats to see what the hell was going on...lol Jenn: I forgive you this time...but next time you have to come and if it happens pretend he is YOUR dog...lol~ MY REVENGE!!!! |
oh my! I don't think he liked that too much ;) Simon would be the exact same way, I just know it! I'm glad you are done with the traveling for awhile ;) Did anyone say anything to you or just throw the nasty looks? |
One guy said something to a woman behind me..and I told him if he has a problem he should direct it to me..and on the flight home this guy with an obnoxious daughter was telling Maximus to shhh!!! and I told him that he should worry about his own daughter (brat that she was)..and he told me she doesn't bark..I said I hope not she's not a dog and turned around..JERK!! |
OMG.. YOU TELL HIM SAM!! lmao lmao |
