Laminate Flooring Suggestions We're about to close escrow on a house and we're thinking of replacing the floors with laminate floors. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy? Also, what are the differences quality of the different kinds of laminate? Thanks so much! |
Definitely Pergo. We had pergo in our old house and I believe it was the grade 8... never scratched, no problems! Bought a new home, put laminate from lumber liquidators... I don't know if it is just this batch but it is horrible! The grade (thickness) is a 12 but we have had so many problems with it scratching. The dogs claws, chairs... Good luck! Laminate is a great choice just becareful and look for reviews on whichever one your looking at. |
I have Armstong throughout my house, and we love it. No scratches, very easy to clean, look great. I called their Grand Illusion collection, I think that how it's spelled. Anyway it's beautiful. |
we did the wilson-art thickest one there was - it was more expensive but it has been great |
I just put quick step (i think that's what its called) down last september and it still doesn't have a scratch on it. looks great and cleans easily. |
Thanks for your responses. We're trying to find something less expensive. So i'm considering either this one from lumber liquidators: Lumber Liquidators: 6mm Beech 3 Strip Laminate Or a Costco one. Does anyone have any experience with these? |
