Praying for the families of those affected. Hope other Oklahoma members just haven't seen this thread and will check in soon. |
I saw the devistation on t.v. this morning. Sending prayers for all OK-ers and your recovery. These natural disasters are so sad. |
I just got home from the hospital. The 9 yr. old boy is not stable enough for surgery. He has a lot of swelling from the skull fractures, many, many broken bones, and collapsed lungs. These are the injuries that they are aware of now. The important thing is now to get him stabilized enough to get him in for surgery. This boy is my sisters great-nephew. The 4 yr. old was taken in for surgery around 11 and when I left at 4 he was not out of surgery yet. The injuries that they are aware of right now are a collapsed lung, broken hip, some cracked vertebrae, and skull fractures. The baby girl 1 1/2 yr. old is in a full body cast. They were considering taking her in for surgery and performing a procedure to help relieve some of the swelling in her body. She will probably need a blood transfusion. These children were found in trees. So the force of being thrown into the trees most likely is where they received their injuries. The boys have broken bones on the right side of their body and the girl on the left side of her body. Thank you all for your continued prayers. |

This is just devastating to hear. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. |
Yes, yesterday was a crazy day. I live in Yukon and we had a small tornado that touched down momentarily but didn't do any damage. My husband actually got it on video. I was at work when everything went through the area. I am praying for all of the people who were hurt or injured. :( |
I was watching the news this morning and saw the devastation. My heartfelt prayers for all those affected by this. Will be keeping all those poor kids in my prayers. Hugs. |

So much damage to such little bodies. I'm praying for them. I heard on the news this morning that they've lowered the death count from 5 to 2, because they had originally believed these 3 children had not survived. |

Oklahoma is known for severe weather but this is just incredible and my prayers to all going thru the devestation of mother nature. Tornados are very very scary ! I've seen only one tiny one and can't imagine a real twister ripping thru homes and ruining lives - not to mention deaths. My prayers are with everyone. |
