Vomit television Is it me or is advertising foot fungus medicine on tv gross or what?! I do not want to view foot fungus...:mad::mad::mad:I eat a lot of times in front of the tv! ICK ICK ICK!!! No warning either...just all of a sudden nasty film of toe fungus! I understand this is a common problem but i do not want to look at it. Like anybody would! Totally disgusting!!! I am sorry you have it but keep it in your shoes. What is next on the tube...pussy sore medicine? Read carefully... i said pussy...get your minds outta the gutter! |
yea, that's right up there w/ all those male enhancement drugs. They have no place on tv, and like the ads usually say " Talk to your dr." Keep your issues between the two of you. The pharmaceutical companies are outrageous. |
I really have a hard time with the "mucus family". Just the sound of the voice of Mr. Mucus makes me want to wretch! Also, what is with the popularity these last few years with puking on television? Its bad enough to see it in movies, but tv is hard to escape from, and it just seems gratuitous to show people throwing up so often anymore.:thumbdown |

Me too. It's disgusting. TV advertisment's today is nothing but drugs, drugs and more prescription drugs! The pharmacutical companies have taken over and I think it very disturbing. What happened to the day when advertisements were heathy ones. A pain in the neck to watch but none the less they were healthy ones. Kids know more about drugs then they need too. I just turn them off. |
I agree, there are drugs for EVERYTHING! It is kind of wacky! I try my hardest to not resort to them unless absolutely necessary so I don't want to keep watching them all either! The toenail fungus ones are definitely one of the grossest ones! |
It is stupid how they always say... "Tell your doctor if you have conditions such as heart disease, hypertension,........" I'm like wth...... shouldn't ur dr know what medical problems u have??????? lol |

I agree Carol. I think by advertising they are doing more harm than actual good. People watch those commercials and because they might have a symptom automatically think - "I must have fill in the blank and need this drug. Like the drugs for depression - who hasn't experienced at least one or two of the symptoms the commercials list? I know some people might really suffer depression, but come on - it seems half our nation is on some type of drug for depression - is that really necessary - I don't think so. The specific commercial that is bugging me lately is the one for catheters and how she used to have to reuse her dirty catheters:eek: I don't really need to know about that and especially right after dinner. |

I watched on We 20/20 a very disturbing show regarding Pfizer and how they lie to sell their drugs to doctor's. Doctors listen to these salesmen sell them, that's how they learn about them:confused: then prescribe them to their patients. The drug companies offer the doctor's all kinds of incentives to wrtie prescriptions for their drugs. I was sick when I watched this crap! Drug Companines are in the business for one thing and one thing only, Profits and the hell with human life! One drug, for depression and still on the market, actually killed people and the drug company's kept it under lock and key because it was their best selling drug. Sure they got caught later and had to pay millions in fines but like the narriator stated, it was only one weeks profit so they didn't care:mad: Don't believe drug companies or your doctor unless you do your own research on the drug. Times have changed and not all for the better. Money is key today, you have to be your own doctor. Oh and I wish they would take this awful commercial off of TV. Do I really care what you do with your KY Jelly!:shocked7q |
1 Attachment(s) I already commented but just saw YET another ad for plastic surgery - sure - show a 30 year old who already looks great - very unreal expectations with these commercials - all commercials give people false hope - not to mention those drug ads talk about side effects that sound worse than the actual problem My solution for all those who CANNOT AFFORD Plastic surgery is the old fashioned way :D (think I'll invest in paper cups) Anyone interested - just call me for a free consultation and directions to the nearest water cooler ! oh and when are those people in the Male enhancement ads going to get out of their seperate tubs ? Wonder if those are 'before' or 'after' shots of the effects of the drug ? |
