who has it and what do you think as just bought it for my allergy baby dee dee to run over our hardwood floors, tile and laminate to vacuum every night when we get home from work. Just curious does this work real well as a couple people on allergy group seem to like it.

any feed back?

I love my Roomba, it does a great job on the day to day cleaning of my floors which are all hard surface, don't have any idea how it does on carpets. It doesn't get into the corners so once a week (or once a year:D) I still have to clean by the old fashioned method. You probably couldn't do a whole house on one battery charge so I bought an extra.
I also have a Scooba (that washes floors). I don't use it on my hardwood but it says you can. It is a little more tempermental but when it works it does a great job on my ceramic tile floors.

what is a scuba can you send a link to that- is it for tile?

I had a roomba a couple of years ago. It was not too long after they came out, maybe it was a 2nd generation one :confused: My boyfriend got it for me for christmas, and I think it worked 3 times.....then it died. He didn't keep the receipt :rolleyes: so we had a big (almost $400) paperweight. It would have been too much to get it fixed, so we threw it out. I am sure they are fine now, but I can't bring myself to buy another one after that. It worked great those 3 times though ;)

Have had roombas for 3 years. Love them!

They do break easily (maybe once a year) so I recommend buying from Costco. They have a great return policy (for life) in case it breaks down.

Same goes for the scoobas. Those break down super easily so def recommend getting it from Costco.

I use a swiffer on our wood floor, but always wanted a roomba. Will have to check out Costco. Thanks dands.:)

Phoebe's (aka Roomba, jr.) available as well...she' can swoosh the floor in seconds flat!:rolleyes::D She works cheap...mostly for treats!:animal36
