Uh scrap that...what WAS I thinking? Amanda turned on her. Well....time to think a bit. |
Definitely a good show last night, though I was disappointed to see JT go home as I really like him. However, he was the idiot who decided to give away his idol!! Just don't know what he was thinking... I guess if he'd been right about Russell vs an all girl alliance, it might have been an awesome play. Easy for us to think it's a dumb move cause we're looking from the outside and can see both sides. Makes you wish all the Heroes had decided to vote for Parvati though!! -C |
Although I've been sad to see some of the people go this has been a GREAT season!! There have been so many twists and every week I feel like I have no idea who is going home!! I love it!! I've only watched one season before but this one is great!!! |

Amanda knows now that Parvati didn't believe her that she needed to play the idol for herself and Parvati knows she can't trust Amanda. Russell though didn't look happy about that 2nd idol either, so who knows what's going to happen! Quote:
The heroes just seem weak to me this time! Colby has been a major disappointment, not to mention boring as all get out! I'm not even feeling Rupert this time around! |
I am not a fan of Parvati, but I have to give her creds for what happened last night. Very clever, girl, very clever!! If I were Russell's wife I think I'd be a little bit POd watching his antics on this show with Parvati. He seems to be bewitched by her, which seems strange considering. I noticed he said to her "You have some explaining to do". That might be interesting next week, thought I doubt she's worried. :) I loved Boston Rob. Wanted him to win. I've been a fan of his since Day 1. |
Did anyone watch Russel last season? I actually think he stinks at the game. He tries to ruin his team's chances and make it to the merge where he wins over another teammate. The thing of it is, is he doesn't need to sabotage his team, if he hadn't gotten rid of Coach, Boston Rob, and a couple of other athletic men, his team could have won more challenges. He needs to manipulate at the end, not the beginning. No one ever wants to get rid of him early in the game, anyway because he's good at challenges, but he is so threatened by other men, he gets rid of them too soon. I think he finds it easy to trick women who "need" someone. He tries to break moral of his team, and has done things in the past to cripple his own team. He also bragged about being a millionaire, and people don't want to see a rich person win. Making it to the final 5 shouldn't be the goal. His only goal seems to pump up his ego, not really win the game. I think next week's show, is going to be interesting, he's going to be furious with Parvati, and it doesn't matter if he got want he wanted, he'll be angry because he can't say he's a master mind. He was able to outwit "Shambo" last season, but Pavarti, is a different type. |
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Survivor...i've watched them all except Amazon...i dont know i just couldnt get into that one. Anyways...i always thought the dumbest move in survivor history was when James left with two idols in his hand a few seasons back. BUT now its definitely the move of JT giving the villians the idol..good lord! I like Russell..cause i do think he is the best at playing survivor EVER...BUT i hate the fact that he uses lines like "i swear on my kids"..ugh...you just dont do that. This is definitely a great season..i cant wait to see next week's episode. :D |
Oh no....Russell is one of the best players ever! Ruthless, yes, but good at that game no matter how you slice it. Did you see JT's immediate reaction??? He congratulated Russell...he knows the game....and knows he got outplayed. Sandra is going to team up with the heroes....but I still will not count Russell out. They also want Parvati out. Should definitely prove to be interesting. I am loving it! |

He was another one....played the wrong strategy and lost. |
Russell Can NOT stand Russell I think he is the devil... there is a line in the way you treat people even in a game. I hope he does not win ..... |

I also loved how Pavarti played the idols...talk about pulling in members to your side! When she handed out those two idols to Jerry and Sandra, I thought that they were going to faint. Sandra may have not liked her before, but I bet she thinks twice about leaving her side now. However, Russell.....I think he knows that his, "Lucy" is now playing the game not only with him, but on him!!:D Next week is definitely going to be interesting! |

I don't think he will win. I disagree though about how you treat people. No one wins in that game without using a strategy and without being dishonest. Some are just more conniving than others. Boston Rob was a conniving person...smiled as he did it. His fatal error was challenging Russell. The night he threatened him, I knew he was dead in the water. Russell is very good at reading people....Parvati also is. The others react too much by emotion. I believe that in the end a woman will win...she will outsmart Russell. That is just my thoughts. Would I want to hang with Russell in RL..probably not...but I SO admire how well he "gets" that game. He is totally playing it! You may not like his strategy, but he is good at it. |
