Wow!!!:eek: Down girls!!!! Lollll, I'm kidding. I know how people can be when they are passionate about something.

So DERBY LAYNE....what do you think about the GHD?? Any good. Better be b/c I just dropped 177 bucks on it!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

What exactly does GHD stand for? I want to be able to impress my daughters by knowing something beauty related, lol, and all I can think of is Good Hair Day :D

Well I was bored and did a search on the net to see what ghd stands for and that's what everyone is saying it means. Although ghd has not confirmed it. lol

I don't straighten my hair that much with a straightening iron, i mostly curl it so I bought the small chi-it's like black and gold i think. Can't you tell i barely use it lol Anyways the times i have used it, it worked pretty good but then again i didn't use it on my whole head. I head the bigger, pink one is hotter.

According to FEDEX:) my GHD is supposed to be arriving today....SUPER PUMPED!!! Almost as excited as I was when my Kwigy Bo carrier for Snickers came!!!:)

Olive's Mom-I will let you know what I think. Yesterday I watched the YouTube tutorrial on how to curl your hair with it...look super easy and SUPER FAST, hopefully I can use this as an all in 1 type of appliance. How great would that be after spending a BOATLOAD on it???!!!!!

My Stylist loves BaByliss flat irons. Thinks it the best on the market. Has anyone tried it?

I got it....and IT'S AMAZING!!!!! I really love it, just such a great appliance!! Yay!! Now, the ONLY thing that scares me is that there are TONS of fake GHD's out there and I can't tell if mine is real or fake. I DOUBT overstock.com would sell fakes so I'm pretty sure mine is authentic but I looked at youtube last night for what to look for in terms of a fake and I am a lil worried. I did register my GHD with the GHD company website successfully so I'm assuming mine is real. I wish someone could tell me.

Olive'sMommy--I would go for it...I really love it. Best part is my hair doesn't have that burnt smell which I really hated!!

I got a babybliss at Marshalls a few years ago for super cheap! Like $20 or something... never heard of it but came home looked it up and realized what a deal I got! I LOVED it!!! I mean that was the best iron I ever had. Then 4 months later the wire was loose and kept shorting the circuit. I was so bummed that I had to throw it away, never found another one before I got my CHI. :(

I think Sephora sells GHD for about $200 if you want to make sure it's the real deal. :) Glad you love it!!!! :)

i have a cheapo straightener like REVLON or something - so cheap i don't know the brand - lol. but it works! i do use this spray when i straighten my hair - the brand of the product is:

Got2b and it's called "crazy sleek."

it works great.

i always thought my hair was straight (as it had a hard time holding curl with curling iron) til i got a haircut last year - the stylist asked me if i ever tried putting mousse in my hair when it was wet because i had natural curl - which i hadn't. i tried it after she said that, and low and behold - my hair is curly with mousse! i don't know how i went more than 25 years without knowing - lol.

anyhow - even with what apparently is naturally curly hair, my cheap straightener works great with the "crazy sleek" product.
