Good morning all,,, Glad to see some of you up this early. I was awoken about an hour ago. My husband has gotten into a bad car accident and I need to go pick him up. The only problem is, I am blind as a bat and it's dark and is pouring out there. So I am all dressed up and no where to go till daylight. Meanwhile it's coming down harder and harder and my poor guy is out there. He would take a taxi home but he is about an hour away and don't want to pay for the fair. So he's just there waiting at a Denny's. He's ok. Just a bit shooken up. To all of you out there please be very carefull. Don't know if it's raining where you are at but in anycase please be careful on your way to work, school or anywhere you may have to go today.

OMG that's soooo scary !!! I'm so glad he's ok enough for YOU to be picking him up and not an ambulance ! DRIVE CAREFULLY GIRL ! I saw the news and it's terrible in your area...I hope your husband is ok and if not - take him straight to the emergency room - you may want him to go anyway - just to document the accident ....GOOD LUCK and I'll be thinking of you....

Thank you V. I feel so bad about him being out there. He tells me that he is ok and I did ask him if he wanted to go get checked out and he said NO. He's just worried about his car. Which he says is really bad. We have good insurace and we also have that gap just incase. They will cover any cost that our insurace wont cover. It's just that it's still so new and he is so pissed that he wrecked it. He's poor toy. He's so lucky,,,,, I am so scarde of that darn car. It's so tiny,,, (Scion XA) but he loves it because it's so good on gas. And with his job being so far away,,, he just loves it. Luckly this accident was all him. He lost control after hitting a water puddle. No other car was involved. The freeway was still pretty empty. Thank goodness!

I almost think you should get him checked out so it's on record that he was in a bad accident - for insurance purposes....MY brother had one and ended up with a bruised Kidney and actually needed surgery - since he DID go straight to the hospital - the other driver's insurance covered his surgery -

It's just a thought for you - Hope he's OK !!!! Good luck and YOU be careful driving out there to get him OK ?

Ok I'm back and it's pretty bad. Tim is unhurt but I don't know if the car is going to survive. He lost control spinning and bounced from side to side so the car has damage all around. but most of the damage is on the front left side. We just paid it off too. So with the amount of miles it had, even though it is a new car, we are going to have another payment if this one can't be saved. We should know more within the next 2 days.

Thank you!!! I should have made him go to get checked out. He is feeling a little sore in his upper left back shoulder. He just did not want to go. We have been on the go all day and I don't think he had a chance to let it soak in,,, but he's feeling it now. We find out if it can be fixed hopefully by tomorrow.

I'm so glad he's okay... I had to drive down to Torrance this morning, but I hit the PCH and missed the worst part. It's pretty scary driving when it's raining so hard! Just tell him the car can always be replaced... he can't be. Thank goodness for insurance!

I'm so glad your husband is okay! That's the most important thing...hopefully the car will come out okay too! What a scare!!!
