It is so Southern Humour.....and at time so true to life down there

There were times I couln't contain my laughter when I was having conversations with Texans, when they were being serious. I could go on and on with stories of those conversations. I finally adapted and learned to decipher what they were saying....just their down home ways that I love and miss.

Since I lived in Phoenix twice and Tucson once...nothing was funnier than seeing a car go down the road without a driver..you just saw a qtip....just a little ole lady who couldn't see over the driving wheel with blue hair or white hair...

I love this stuff...it just cracks me up.

OMG I am so laughing my @ss off! I can'T wait til Mike gets up and I can let him listen to this. Mike is a retired Marine too! Him and my Dad (retired Navy) used to banter back and forth with things like this all the time. I don't think Mike has had as good a laugh since my Dad passed away in November!

Well hunny, when you get to a certain age (and I am there) it just naturally happens...I just use doggy pee pads on my chair...:eek:

Now there is a couple of words I wouldn't have my baby saying. But, it is my understanding that it was done with a Child Pychologist present; and stating it was befoe she turned 2 and that children don't remember prior to that age.....So, the good cop bad cop was her last clip.

The child is just precious... and it is just funny....

My little brother had twins and I was forever getting them to do stuff like this..I also taught them all sorts of tricks to play on my brother...we short sheeted the bed, garlic in toothpaste, wet underwear put onside in the winter and the list could go on...my little brother deserved every bit of it.

I was followng this post earlier and then Cindy told me about it too - so just had to get on and tell you between my post and this one - the day has started off so well. I love a good laugh! And... it is so dangerous now - I am older and a woman and can't afford to laugh too hard - or I will pess my pants. Can't help it now. I love the Navy call one! First time I heard that one. OMG - what a good laugh this morning! Thank you!! :thumbup:

I feel like a kid now! 60, but a long way to go! Good to see some other "mature" people heren and wishing you all a great Easter. I have to go pick up the In-Laws, and my Wife is cooming up a storm. Looks like I picked the wrong week to start my Cookie Diet....well, I still have the airplane glue to.....

I guess I'm just blessed that 'Roy Damn Mercer' is a local good-ole-boy from right here in Tulsa. I get to listen to him and his phone calls every day. Phil & Brent (the two local DJ's who created Roy) have a hilarious phone conversation once a week about the fishing conditions. I have had to pull over and park a few times because I couldn't stop laughing.
