Meyer has a new, surprise, short companion story coming out June 7th--the story of Bree the newborn!

You know, it's been a while since I read Eclipse but the only baby I remember in that series is the one that Bella had later on. Who is Bree?

Its been so long since I read, but isn't she the other human/vampire Hybrid?

No, Nauel (sp?) was the other hybrid that came from the Amazon late in the 4th book.

Bree was one of the newborns that Victoria created in Eclipse. Neer the end of the book, after the big fight, the Cullens are holding a few surviving newborns that surrendered by a fire when the few Volturi arrive. Bree was one of the survivors. She was the only one that spoke that complained about Bella making her throat burn and that Jane questioned in regards to what happened.

This is supposedly her story as a newborn and what went on behind the scenes with Victoria as she was building up her army.

There was an interview posted on her site in 11/16/09 where she stated that she would eventually finish and publish Midnight Sun, but that she didn't know when and that it wasn't her current project.:thumbup:

Awe!! Ya'll are making me wanna read the books again. I havent even finished Hunger Games yet!! LOL! And now I wanna read Midnight Sun! I at least need to read Eclipse and Breaking Dawn again. I know Twilight pretty good and I have New Moon on video, so to skip taking 2 weeks out of my life on those two I can just rewatch the movies. But I want to be prepared for the next 2 or 3 movies. Soooo excited!!!

So glad I found this thread...I was wondering who Bree was....now I remember exactly..thanks to you guys. I am also going to re-read eclipse again for the third time before the movie...I just love it. Also waiting for Midnight Sun...love the pages that have been released so far.

Yeah I did and I when I first heard of the new book, I thought of you! lol I can't wait to read it and best of all, she is offering it FREE online :D

Wow, I am so happy to find Twilight fans. I was going to ask if anyone else was a fan but I got my answer. I have seen Twilight about 20 times I think and just watched New Moon twice. This movie and the books are NOT just for tweens, I love it and am addicted now. I found trailers of Breaking Dawn on the internet last night and can hardly wait but it won't be released until next year. Eclipse is coming out June 30th. I think Rob Pattinson as Edward is an unbeatable choice. Edward is so charming and loving he makes me want to get bitten!! They sure changed Kristens' looks after Edward changes her. She's so pretty and feminine, as she is in real life. I also think its cool that they are a real couple. I haven't read all the books yet but my husband is getting them for me this week. My son and I talk about the books and the movies for hours on the phone. He thinks it's cool that his mom is into the series. I'm a true romantic so how can I help but get drawn in. My weakness is happy endings so before I even watched the first movie I made him tell me the ending to make sure I would like it. I remember watching the movie "Cold Mountain" and it was such a good movie, Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger were awesome. I loved it all the way until the end. I got so mad at the ending that I was even mad at my poor unsuspecting hubby! The reviews on the books on Amazon really trashed the writing and story line but almost everyone I talk to can't put them down once they start reading.
The reviews that are so critical really give away most everything about the books and they are really critical of Stephanie. HEY if you don't like the book, DON'T READ IT:mad:
