hmmm, my DH was #5 of 13. He was the 2nd boy of 4, he has 9 sisters. His mom had a baby every other year for 26years. Talk about crazy. I'm number 3 of 4 and the only girl. But.... the oldest is my dad's kid and thinks he's a girl and is 10yrs older than I am. My next brother and I are adopted from the same orphanage, but the youngest is also adopted and is 10yrs younger than me...how does one figure out THAT birth order...???

my twin brother is 5 minutes older than me. we are 2 years younger than the kid before us. but get this mom already had 6 kids, & she was 40 when we were born. the nurse came out of the delivery room to tell dad he had a son, 5 minutes later she came back & said you also have a daughter, well Dad told her "for god sake turn it off" I think that is so funny!!

First-born. My parents got divorced when I was around 10, and my mother had my half-brother (passed away) with my step-dad, and my father had my OTHER half-brother with my stepmom... and after my little brother passed, my mom had another baby with my stepdad again, LOL. Whew, confusing, isn't it? I went from only child for so long to be first born out of 3 siblings.

Well I would consider your oldest sibling a first born, you are a first born, your brother from the orphanage is the baby, and then the youngest is a first born again because of the age difference between you all!

Lol that's funny!:D I would consider him the firstborn and you're the baby!

I'm the baby of the family. Also, both my parents were the babies as were both my Grandparents on my Mother's side.

I'm 27 y/o first and only child from my mom. BUT we've always lived with my grandparents, who adopted my 26 year old cousin and my 16 year old cousin when they were babies. So technically my mom raised all 3 of us like hers plus she practically raised 2 more cousins.

I'm also the oldest grandchild and oldest girl.

I am the third of 4.......hm I have an Older sister that is 4 yrs older and a brother that is 3 yrs older than me and a younger sister that is 6 years younger. So maybe I am kinda the middle:p

Technically, you're the baby since there is a six year difference between you and your youngest sister, and the youngest sister is a first born! When there is a six or more year difference between siblings the process starts over again! :p
