Had to put my cat Ozzie to sleep I took my cat Ozzie to the vets last night because he had an infection in his mouth. He lost most all of his teeth last August so the few that he still had I thought oh well their goes another one, but no she took a look at him and said I think it’s his kidneys . We did a blood test and his number was very high. He was losing weight but I also thought because of his teeth he couldn’t eat. I just can’t believe it I thought all he needed is some pills and then get the tooth taking care of but we had to put him to sleep. I think he was about 15 or so as I had him for 10 years. I’m numb I just can’t believe he is gone. :cat4: rip Ozzie |
so sorry to hear about your loss! RIP little one! |
Some time ago, I suddenly had to put my 13 year old cat Buddy to sleep, it was so hard, I loved him so much, and I wasn't expecting to have to let him go so soon after becoming sick. Hugs to you, I know how difficult it is. |
Oh, I am so sorry. Kitties are so independent but they are such sweet little furballs that attach themselves to our hearts. R.I.P., Ozzie. ~Joanne~ |

Ozzie's purring was telling you "thank you Mom and Dad, for not letting me hurt, I love you" - what a sweet kitty to give you that message, so peaceful, affirming. What a love. |
