Hugs  Next time someone you know acts a little stressed out, give 'em a hug. Like a Snuggie for your insides, hugs are linked to warm, fuzzy feelings. Even better, those good feelings translate into lower heart rate and blood pressure. Studies show a hug from a loving partner dampens stress in people both before and after a difficult time. I agree. I don't have a partner (husband) anymore :(and really miss the simple things such as getting/giving a hug. I'm a pretty touchy person so have to watch it with co-workers and such but for my family & friends - a hug is ALWAYS how I greet them |

Just for the record... I believe a hug and a smile can go miles. I do not always remember but try to recognize that when someone may appear unkind, or they cut me off in traffic, or bump into me in a store and say nothing -- that maybe they are having a VERY bad day and need my consideration. What if... I ask myself... what if her daughter just was in a car accident or what if she is waiting to hear that her best friend is out of surgery... We just never know and it never hurts to show a little extra kindness... Hope I did not offend the OP - I just have never seen a link with that title before. |

you know - like those people that HAVE to pull out in front of you when you're driving down the street - they make YOU slam your brakes on when they could have waited that extra 2 seconds and pulled out BEHIND you ...seems lots of people love to do that I've never had the urge to hug one :D I think I'll continue to flip them off. |
Hahaha - well I am definitely not gonna stop the car and try to get to them to hug them... I am confident I WILL be shot then, for sure!;):D |
