I just took these this morning -

A Squirrell is TORMENTING Cheri - talking to her - making her chase him ...then he is STEALING her acorns and taking them to his tree -

The FIRST pic is how far the tree is ....he jumps from this tree to my fence and drives little Cheri BONKERS....I put an arrow to show where the PEST is sitting ...and another arrow to show Cheri waiting for him :)

The 2nd pic is with my ZOOM to that same tree and spot where he sits...(The ARROW in the first pic).

I can't believe I got this close when he was so far away - I am really loving my camera...But the pictures ALSO Show my really BAD Fence Fixing job - Cheri was DIGGING to get to this squirrell and I ran out of boards - but they DO have good seats to spy on ...she is totally fascinated by this Squirrell

I have glass sliders in my den that open onto our deck and a squirrel sits on top of our gas grill and torments my dogs. They go crazy and the squirrel doesn't even flinch! Until I open the door - that is!!! :D


Does Cheri gather acorns, too? Dublin keeps bringing them in through the dog door and I'm finding them all over the house!! :rolleyes: He loves chasing them when they fall out of the trees, and since our lot is wooded, there are tons of them!

She IS !! I took a video the other day of ONLY her little butt - her tail goes into TURBO Mode when she's out there - it's really cute - she just waits and waits and waits....

Chanel the Hussy would rather spy on the boys & Ray Ray on the other side of the fence - she knows the squirrel is just playing head games.

It's a great thing Cheri can't climb trees, LOL. Cheri and this squirrel would be sharing a few words for sure. ;)

"Cheri, don't ya know doggie snacks are so much more tasty then those nasty acorns??" :p

Villette .... that is hilarious!! We hope to move in the spring where Toto can have a yard! We have a huge one at home [AL] and giant trees with squirrels but all she has here is the little courtyard surrounded by a wall!! Poor baby!! Your girls are having so much fun!! ;) I'm sure there is a herd of happy squirrels harvesting the pecans from our tree!!! :(

LOL....Poor Cheri losing all her NUTS to thats damn squirrel...lol, he better be careful she just may end up there with him one day and scare the crap out of him and his nuts

LOL! I am so glad we don't have squirrels! However we do have chickens, and Tinkerbell and CHloe think they are quite fun to harrass (daddy gets sooo mad!)

How cute is that!!!! I just bought Brutus a toy AKC squirrel at Petco yesterday and he's going crazy over it! The only thing is now I think when he sees a real one he's going to FREAK!!!! :eek:

Well, Villette, you may not be a professional fence builder, but you sure do take good pictures!!! I wouldn't worry about the looks of the fence, as long as it works. One of these days, that pesky squirrel is going to be down in the yard and Cheri is going to get him good!!!!! (maybe she will talk Chanel into helping her)

Funny you should post this - our two have discovered squirrels just this week & they are going crazy chasing them. The squirrels just sit in the trees & look at them & chatter - driving them more crazy. Stormy almost caught one by the tail yesterday!! One has found his own little perch he hangs out on daily. :rolleyes: He let me come right up to him to take this pic. (They will even come up on our deck & try to eat a certain plant that we have. I don't think that will happen anymore now that the dogs are on the hunt!)

Your girls are so cute & I always love looking at their pics & hearing of their adventures!
