PS Fakes are a little hard to spot...my cousin got one and swears its real and it has the serial numbers in it. I know it isnt because it came "new" w/plastic coverings on the handles and it came from a swap meet! | I think the fakes are pretty easy to spot. Look at the Coach credo inside. The real ones are actually made in China now (go figure), and the fakes will say made in the US (which they once were before). If you actually read the credo, there are lots of typos and incorrect grammar. It's hard to look in there and read it, and most people don't. Just see the Coach "label" and that's it. Also the hardware will not be actual brass etc, and will be light and thin. Real coach metal is very thick and "beefy". Edges of the leathers/suedes are not painted. In fact the leathers are not real leather at all. And the fact that it was with plastic covering and from the swap meet, makes it 100% fake! |
