Beyond exhausted Wow... I am tired... to the bone tired! My whole family was in town for the holiday this year! It was exciting & fun but crazy tiring! Last weds night my bro, his wife and nephew stopped by then my mom, stepfather and uncle came to visit, late night, we played Wii! haha Thurs morning (Christmas eve) I got up at 6am and went to my mom's to cook (not her house but where she was staying) until noon, then went home, finished wrapping, packed up the car, got ready and head to my grandmothers until 1030pm, went home where friends met us and we stayed up until about 2am. Got up Christmas morning at like 8am, went to my mom's for brunch, BF picked up his kids we went to his house, then his sisters house, then my Dads house, got home at 10pm. Saturday had the kids all morning then dropped them off and went to my brother's new wife's mother's house for dinner until 10pm, got to my friends house and stayed until 330am hanging with my brothers (1 lives far away, the other is stationed in Iraq and was home on leave, leaving sunday to go back to VA before heading back to Iraq today). I was trying to maximize time with them. Sunday we cleaned house pretty much all morning after only about 5 hours of sleep then finally rested the rest of the day. Last night I saw my mom and her hubby one more time before they left today, we went to dinner, then back to the place they stayed and talked until almost midnight and I got up for work this morning at 630am, yesterday morning too! YIKES I need a night off and tonight's the night!!!! I see a long hot bath, a bathrobe and some serious cuddle time with my boys tonight. They are tired beyond belief and miss their mommy & routine! :) Anyone else with crazy holiday schedules?? |
Oh wow. That is a crzy schedule haha! But i'm glad that you had a wonderful Christmas :) That bath and cuddling sounds absolutely perfect by the way :D |
Wow! It would take me a week to recover from all that, no kidding! What's nice is that you spent time with friends and family and that's what matters!! Happy New Years to you! |
