I am glued to the tube right now. Has anyone seen,,,,, A cry for help, The Tracey Thurman story? I can't stop crying. I can't not believe what happened to this poor woman! I am outraged at the movie thus far. I sure hope she goes after the police for not doing a thing to help her. Does anyone know what happens??? No never mind,,, I will watch it,, I dont know if I can take it. I am yelling at the tv right about now. I sure hope none of my neighbors can see me! they are going to think I'm nuts. It's a true story, but I have never heard of her till now.

Does Nancy McKeon play Thurmon? I think I have seen it. (Where've you been?!?!? It's an OLD one! ROFL) It was indeed TERRIBLE. I was in an abusive relationship -- not NEAR that servere-- and you'd be surprised how little help a woman gets in some places. The part that got me was when he was kicking her in the face when she was laying in the street..... I kept waiting for that part to end. HORRIBLE.

Grrrrrrrrr,,,,, this cop had to pee??? Oh man I'm pissed! He did nothing to stop him. I can't believe my eyes. Yes that would be the one. Yes it is old and I can't believe I haven't seen it till now. She is in court right now. She better win!

I am so sorry that you were misstreated by someone who said they loved and cared for you. I am happy to say I have never been in that kind of situation. I would probably be locked up for killing him if I were.

Going through things like that makes you stronger, but it also causes a lot of emotional "baggage" that takes a LONG time to shed.
From what I can remember, I think the movie has a good ending. If not, correct me. Its been a while. :)

I seeing this movie a couple of times and Always cry and get angry at the way the police responded. When her husband was kicking her and jumping on her head and the stupid policeman was just watching, I wanted to smack him a couple of times to make him do something. I love Lifetime Television for woman. thats the channel I saw the movie.

You are rite it did had a good ending, even thou I think she deserve it more of what she got.

Ok, yes I am happy with the outcome! This should have never happened in the first place but she did get her day in court! I wish that the monster would spend the rest of his life behind bars but,,,,, he will be getting out and it says that he plans to finish the job when he gets out. What kind of sh** is that?

Yes it was a good ending and yes she deserves more but back then 2.9 mill was alot.
