I LOVE my slow cooker!!!!! I love that it locks, I take soup alot to get togethers and I do not have to worry about a mess in my car. I take this slow cooker when we go camping and fix our supper before we leave, lock the lid and away we go, after getting the campsite set up we are ready to eat. My mom bought one too after borrowing mine. I just love it because it is so nice to take places!!! You will love it too!!! |

I haven't use it yet. I am going to use it tomorrow and try out this recipe. The kids have school and I have school in the night so I will have it running while I am home tomorrow and see how it goes. I am excited. I love dumplings. I figure I try it out when I can be home so I can get over my anxiety of having this cooker running all day without supervision :D. Tomorrow is my practice run. I hope to use it again Wed when I go back to work and also have class that night. I am headed to the supermarket to pick up the ingredients for this meal...mmmh my mouth is watering already. :p |

Thank you for this site information on crockpot receipts. My neice gave me one for Christmas. This should make things a lot easier for cooking. |
This is great! I've really only made beef stwe in my slow cooker. I'm going to try some of these recipes. The chicken cordon bleu sounds really good and I have ham leftover from Christmas. |
I love this thread. I am going to try some of these recipes |
I just throw a whole chicken in the crockpot with a little water and seasoning before i leave for work. When i get home pour off the juice to a pan on the stove and throw the dumplings in to cook for a few minutes and your meal is ready. you can just use can biscuit dough for dumplings.... Easy I also sometimes stuff the chicken with stovetop dressing then throw in the crock. Put a nice beef roast in with a little water then use the juice later that evening to make gravy, pour over mashed taters. |
