I think you've done a wonderfully amazing job as well! And I think for kids who have gotten nothing, everything you've gotten will be a wonderful treat! I would think little boys would want trucks cars and dinosaurs. Lego's are always something that gets a lot of use too. You can even get hot wheels tracks with a few cars relatively inexpensively. And I would think little girls would want a doll or one of those cute little stuffed dogs or kitty's that do things like bark etc. And as for the tv, I don't think a used tv would be tacky at all, I'm sure it would be a much welcomed gift. Please let us know how you make out! You're a Christmas Angel and doing just what the spriit of the season is all about! That's a wonderful gift too, isn't it? |
Sometimes I'm such a moron!!:rolleyes: I came back to see how things were going for this family and realized that it sounded like I was saying that it would take forever to get them Christmas... what I was TRYING in my own weird lil way to say was that the kids probably won't understand until they're older just how special this Christmas was for them!! Sorry for my oooppsss!!! |
God Bless You, you have given this Dear Lady and her children the GREATEST GIFT OF ALL....LOVE........ the love you have shown them will follow these precious children through out their life, and their Mother too. I know you have given the Mother Hope to look towards better times ahead and that she is not alone and can get help. Thank God for the shelters for abused Mothers and children. We gotta keep them open and available to care for those in need. Thank God for the dedication of folks such as yourself in the daily job of helping those such as this dear family. I think the tv that you have will be most welcomed to her and the children. Thank you for posting here to share with us all, I will be keeping this family in prayer and also yourself, the work you do is so very important in the lives of so many. Can't help but say a prayer that God will turn this Dad's life around and make a change not only in his own life, but also for these precious children. God can do it, praying this to be.
