who's getting snow today Most of the midwest is getting snow. We aree expecting 7 to 9 inches with blizzard conditions later today an into tomorrow. |
OMG:eek: I heard we're getting icy rain and snow after midnight with clearing up after rush hour tomorrow. It will get to 45 tomorrow afternoon. We got 2" on Sun and that was enough for me for the rest of the winter. The older I get the less I enjoy a nice snowfall. I think walking the sled puller has something to do with it:rolleyes: So afraid of falling on the ice and breaking something. Be safe Jeanie. Hope power stays on during that storm. |
Gez - I remember those days. I actually enjoyed shoveling nice, white, LIGHT snow - but then that was over 11 yrs ago - I was in much better shape! :p Used to get a lot of cookie baking during those storms, though. Hope you're stocked up on food, movies and blankets. :D Stay warm Jeanie! |
I wish it would at least get COLD here in Florida..Some days were in the high 60's then like today and thru Thursday in the 80's. Can't really get into the Christmas spirit when its HOT outside.... |
It snowed here yesterday. Were supposed to have high winds and ice starting tomorrow afternoon. My Husband was supposed to drive to Tennessee for business but he cancelled but he will still be out driving in it here. I just hate winter and I hate ice the worst |
We had almost 2 inches on Saturday and there's a tiny bit left on the ground but that's it. I think we're expecting some more snow early next week, so they say. |

Wow no snow here, but tomorrow they are predicting potentially damaging wind and rain! I hope everyone stays safe, warm and dry! |
As my newspaper says .. "snow will move in today night" LOL Nice paper huh??? haha we will see what happens but they are saying messy commute in the morning! bllahhh |
Around Topeka, KS they are all snowed in with about 7 inches of snow. None here in Arkansas yet :l |
We're getting a couple inches overnight tonight but nothing like you... you poor thing! I feel for ya! |
Well Sunny California got dusted on the foothills yesterday and today was down to 18 degrees....again for tonight. Way too cold for me. Come on summer....... |
Jeanie, It is so nice to be snowed in with my babies and my quilt machine and frame. Does life get any better? The only thing I have to worry about it shoveling out a "race track" for the babies to run around outside and "get busy." We were just over by you - at the Mac Center - the weekend "shoot out" sponsored by Jennie Ed". we were able to get some shopping done too! Someday I will surprise you by making a "road trip" with little Blair. I know she will love to see her First Momma! |
None here....... but might get a little "mix" tomorrow....... but I hear that that parts of Michigan will be getting DUMPED on tomorrow. |
Just rain ALL day long here in KY... ugh... its a cold and nasty rain, too. |
Blizzard!!! We got about 15"-18" at our house in Colorado!! brrrrrrrrrrrr Thank God our angel is weewee pad trained!! ;) I am not going out there. :sidesplt: |
Out here in CO it's snowy, although not terribly, but it is FREEZING!! It's been snowing off and on for the past couple days. The high for today was a whopping 9°! |
We're getting lots of snow here in W. Michigan! Its not supposed to quit until Thursday. Tomorrow should be the worst apparently. They're calling for a "flash freeze" over Wednesday night. We're looking at a total of 7-14". Oh, and due to budget cuts they're not salting some of the less busy roads much anymore. So they go through with the plows and just allow the slush to freeze over. |
Seriously? We have the air on at our house. :( |

Wish I can say the same . . .I hate Winter and its not even "officially" Winter yet. Woke up to 3 inches of snow and school cancellations. Helped hubby clean off the driveway and the kids cars so we could do the repositioning of cars so I could go to work . . .Driving really was crappy this morning . . I am not a good snow driver . . . lol The snow ended around 8am, now we are getting rain and lots of it . .so everything is turning into slush and goop. They said it was supposed to get to the mid 40's today, but I'm pretty sure they were wrong AGAIN . . . |

Wanna trade houses for four months? This is what you would have gotten this am: Up at six hearing snowplows going threw, jumped up wishing it was a dream, saw about 3" around my car:eek: It was sletting out. So from the warm bed into, boots, coat, gloves, earmuffs then their's Bud to dress, into his sweater, harness and leash. Out we go slipping and slidding down the path, up 5 steps to the dog level at which he was trying to take me back home and I was trying to drag him forward slipping and slidding all the way. He peed but wouldn't poop so I scooped him up to carry him back trying to hold onto the umbrella as we walked. The unbrella turned inside out and we both got wetter! Finally home then off with all the wet clothes only to do this again in 2hrs before I dug myself out to go to work. Having fun yet?:p OH HOW I HATE SNOW:( |
We only got a dusting of snow so far but the wind is really strong. A big branch come out of my tree and it took our power line that goes out to our garage down. So we had to turn the power off to the garage |
None here, thank God. I HATE snow. Actually, I hate winter period. Give me a warm sunny day anytime. |
