I have noticed that a lot of people post here saying that they work from home and I've been talking to a lot of mothers at my son's school that say the same.

I'm curious, if you work from home, what do you do?

I do some side contracting for my old job. I do their medical insurance billing and recievables, paperwork and phone calls at home. I also sew and sell dog clothes on ebay.

It's a multi-level marketing company. I've been looking for something like this for a long time that wasn't a scam. We had a lawyer check them out and they're fantastic. The compensation plan is amazing! They grew over 800% since last year so I figured I better get on this train before it leaves without me!

I work from home and I have a doggie boutique website. I sew ALL day(and get distracted from it by YT like I am right now :D ). I have been in business over a year but I have only been working full time from home since January. I love it so much I cant imagine working for someone else anymore.

I work from home and used to be very busy but now that my husband is ill...not too busy anymore ....but I still do all the things that are needed to do to run a business...I also design & print brochures on the side for small companies...

I use Arbonne. I love it!!! Yes, I too work from home. My husband and I run a dental laboratory.

People always tell me I'm so lucky but I HATE IT!!!!!!!
Maybe if I had MONEY I would like it, but wait!!!! Then I wouldn't be home all day , I would be out shopping :rolleyes:

waaaaaaaa.......I WANT to work from home!!! I have been searching for freelance jobs I could do out of the privacy of my home (in my jammies) for a long time! I would be so happy with that!

My mother in law sells arbonne at her salon. She is big on the stuff! Its really popular too. :)

Their products are great in case anyone wants to know!!! :thumbup:

I went shopping for work clothes the other day. I got terry cloth pants, some tanktops, and fuzzy slippers :D . It was fun

What products do you use? Are you a wholesale buyer? I just started using the re9 anti-aging cream and I really like it. I'm waiting for samples from the holiday line and I can't wait to try them too!

Is she from Texas too? Here in NJ not many people have heard of Arbonne. It's good and bad. The bad part is getting them to try it but the good part is I can potentially "Arbonnize" the state! :)

Yes she is from Texas. I had never heard of it until I was hanging around her salon. But I keep hearing more people talk about arbonne. People even have "arbonne parties" in this state. Do you try to do that with your clients? I only use the bath gel(pampermint) and bath crytals and this cool handcream/salt stuff but I love them(im young so I dont use much face products or wrinkle decreasers yet :p ).

She calls her salon an arbonne salon. I guess becasue thats the only spa type products they use and sell.

I've started my own business where I work at home but I've been too insecure about to tell you guys. Maybe after I have some sales I'll fill you in. I've been a stay-at-home mom for 19 years. My daughter is in college and my son is just 12 so I've still got a way to go with him. But I needed something to do and my hubby has been supportive (imagine that!). Anyway, we'll see how it goes. I love being in business. I have an accounting background, but it also satisfies my creative side cause I get to do the marketing as well as the actual work. Hopefully I can tell you all about it soon...ugh! I hate having no self-confidence!!!

I absolutly LOOOOVE their baby skin care line!!! That's all I use on my daughter!!!

I'm a stay -at-home mom and I love it!!! I wish I could do it forever, but as soon as I finish my degree I'm sure my husband will want me to go to work! :D I'm taking classes online for accounting and I'm hoping when I get done that maybe I can find someway to do someones accounting from home! :)

I run a at-home daycare and like it. It's stressful some days but if it keeps me home with my kids and my furbaby..thats all that matters. I am also just starting this other business. It's a liquid nutrition vitamin drink. It's awesome.. It's called ACAI (ah-sigh-ee) and doing pretty well at it. I'll let you know how it's going.:) :)

My daughter has a regular job, but she also found a job that she can do from home. She creates slideshows with music for a DJ that my son-in-law knows. The DJ also makes wedding videos and gets alot of requests for slideshows, and he doesn't like to do them. So, he pays her $200 for each slideshow, and if it's got over a certain amount of pics, he pays her more.
