Woogie Man | 10-27-2009 01:13 PM | Tropicana Save The Rain Forest Campaign From now until the end of the year, Tropicana is running a promotion to save the rain forests by putting a code on their packages. All you have to do is go to their website and enter the code (you have to register first). For each code entered, Tropicana will save 100 square feet of rain forest. It doesn't sound like much, but it adds up. At 43,560 square feet, it takes 435.6 codes entered to save an acre. Every code entered helps and it's really not much effort.
I buy orange juice anyway so for now I'll buy their brand to enter the code. I suppose you could also just write down an extra code or two (it's an 11 character code with numbers and letters that begins with the # symbol) and enter it for the people that buy it but don't send it in. The worst they'll do is not accept it if it's already been sent in.
