I can't be the only one .... right? Am I the only one who would much rather hang out with my dog than *most* people? When I think about it - it sounds awful like I am antisocial or something (well- it is something that runs in our family :) ) and that's not true- I like people quite a lot- but given the choice- i'd say most of the time I'd choose to hang out with Layla.... make me feel like not such a nerd and tell me I am not alone... . |

Well, call me an antisocial nerd too then cuz I'm right there with you on this one! I love spending time with my girls and when I'm not with them I'm talking about them, shopping for them, missing them! I'm sure I must drive some people nuts with my dog talk but...love me, love my dogs! |

I agree completely!!! I'd totally prefer my babies' company to that of most people! and I'm such an awkward teenager because I am such a home-body in general. I see no purpose in going to hang out at the mall for all hours of the night or going out clubbing or whatever. I'd MUCH rather stay home or at my close friends' houses and just hang out and watch movies. |

I never thought I'd be this crazy about anything. I am car obssesed but not as obssessedas I am about Kaji. If I go somewhere, he goes with me. If I do anything, he goes with me. I go to work, I think about him. I'm at home and I make plans of things to do with him. When bf comes to visit, the three of us sit on the couch and watch tv, Kaji in the middle of course! :p And now that I have my Alex bag, I might actually consider going out with bf since Kaji is so quiet and I can now sneak him into any place. Movies anyone??? :D |
Marci, I love your new picture!!! SO cute!! You are not alone. Id rather hang out with Sam too. While he can be quite the sassy pants, he still more fun to hang out with. |

I'm with you. I *do* feel like a nerd sometimes- LOL as my family are very very social partying people and I think the fact that I grew up around so much partying made me just not care about it. I'm 19 years old and while most of my "friends" or peers wanna go out and get hammered and/or high every weekend, I'm perfectly content chilling at home with my dog. I have my few close knit friends I hang with on occasion (most are away @ college), and I go to community college 5 days a week, but I just have different interests. Jackson is my little companion/buddy and I really enjoy doing things with him... whether it be just going for a walk, taking him to the dog park, even running up the street to McDonalds or the bank and he gets in the car with me. |

How funny!!!! Some days, I'm with you!!! My "real" kids even complain that Sophie is getting all the attention!!!!! I tell them that the oldest had 9 years of being spoiled, then along came the second "real Kid"!!! She had 11 years of being spoiled, then along came Sophie!!!! It's her turn!!!!:p |

Your not alone...My babies are my LIFE. Everything we do at home revolves around the Babies. they dont even know what it is like to be left alone. Most people think I'm crazy but I dont care:) |
ahaha, as you can see....you are not alone. I'm the same way, sounds like we all are alot alike. Once you have one, they do become your life. I tell my husband, wish we would had a little girlie years ago, he says, geez if we would have....we'd have a house full by now. You know it won't be long until I have two, haha. I'm a claim rep and work from home, so I'm so lucky to get to be with my Zhoie all the time, so blessed!!:D |

I'd much rather spend my time with my dogs too, infact always have. I just find most people so shallow, their whole lives just revolve around drinking or mindless T.V programs. They nolonger know how to think for themselves. It why I work nights, fewer people [ only 4 of us], but even they get on my nerves sometimes. As soon as I can after I get up I get them ready and go for a walk, best hour of my day as no body to bother me. |

A dog will never judge you, laugh at you, point the finger at you, or say hurtful words. They're there to listen and love. Thinking of it that way, who WOULDN'T rather hang out with a dog? :D |
