I used Smoke Away four about 4 days. You can do it! |
Congratulations :) you should be proud of yourself.... I have a question- I tried the zyban, it worked great after about 6 weeks, I got so motion sick, even walking was making me dizzy, forget about riding in a car... I stoped taking the zyban, and ended up smoking again. Is the smokeaway the same as the zyban? did you feel sick from it? I am envious of you being able to quit, I have tried at least 5 times, I am a habit/emotional smoker, huge emotional smoker... I can get through the first few days without the nicotine, but my emotions get the best of me (stress ect) Can you let me know how the program works? I really, really need to quit. Thanks, and a huge congrats to you for your sucess :) :) |
WOW Eensor thats great! what made you quit? how long have you been a smoker... |
Good for you Elizabeth! I can only imagine how difficult this is. My bf is trying to quit...again. He was a smoker when I met him, quit for months, started again, quit for a couple of years, and then started again recently. He's trying though... send some postitive non-smoking vibes his way! |
Great job!!! Stopping any addiction is hard work..so your doing awesome |
THat is so good!!! I'm proud of you!! I know how hard it is to quit. I started smoking around 14 I quit at 18 and now five years later I have started agian. I'm trying to quit for the second time now. Keep up the good work!!! Chew lots of gum!! :D :good job: :congrats: |

Congratulations...you've accomplished a great thing! My husband and I both quit several years ago...after a while you'll notice your food tastes better and your immune system will feel stronger, not to mention you'll smell better and save a bunch on perfume!! ;) The only time I was tempted to smoke after I quit was when I had a drink (which wasn't very often) so I fixed that too and quit drinking altogether! Good luck with your continued success! |

When I quit 4 years ago!!!! I used Zyban and the pack and had no problems. There is also a excellent websitequitnet.com. They have a support groups and helpful hints. You can also join groups of people that are quitting at the same time. I quit in April so I was part of the April fool's. They say for every aid you use your chances of quit go up 10% more so 3 things 30% more likely to quit than people that us nothing. Here are my stat's My Quit My Stats: Your Quit Date is: 4/9/2001 Is this still your Quit Date? Congratulations. What is smoke away, and how does it work? |
yes, i would like to know also, ill try anything |
:jump28ib: WOOO HOOOO!!!! great job Elizabeth!!!!!! |
Smoke Away is all natural. It comes in pill form and you can get it at the drugstore or online. It is just a bunch of herbs, but they really do take away the cravings. Unlike the patch, you have completely gotten the nicotine out of your system in 3 days! They say to use it 3 times a day, but I did better using it 4 times a day. I kept it in my purse so I would always have it when I needed it. I think you have to really want to quit for anything to work. I had to get sick of coughing, and being out of breath all the time. And let me add I loved to smoke! I miss it still but its getting easier all the time. Good luck! |
thank you, im going to that site right now... |
W2G!!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!!! I wish my mom can stop. After many attemeps and almost 40 years she's tried, but just couldn't do it. I hope you are able to keep it up. Lot's of luck to you. |

That is great. My husband quit for me over 18 years ago. My allergies were just so bad it was either that or me leave. So he loved me enough to stop. Now if I could get him to quit dipping I would be in hog heaven. Maybe someday soon. Congrats again. Keep up the good work. |
:congrats: Congratulations Elizabeth. Bravo. Way to go. I wish my hubby will stop smoking. Sometimes he evens wakes up in the middle of the nite for a cigarrette. I will talk to him and see if he is willing to try smoke away. Im an asthmatic. Just the smell of it bothers me. Congratulations to all the quitters, well done. :good job: |

Good luck. That was the biggest reason my husband quit was because of my allergies & asthma. That nicotine is a powerful legalized drug. |
