Need special thoughts and Prayers
 

Hey Guys!

Well to make a long story short, without going into detail just bc it is so personal My Mom has been going through ALOT! She was diagnosed with Bi-Polar like 2 years ago and we have been trying to get her balanced, she has some really good days and some really bad days. She has been in the hospital 2 times now for CHF (consegitvie heart failure) now we are trying to battle that and her bi-polar. NOT EASY. I really need some prayers for her. Me and my brother and my sister in law ( My dad passed away in 02 so its just us 3) took her to a place last night for her Bi-polar to try to get her some more help that my brother and I cant do. So I really really really REALLY hope this works. I am praying my butt off. If this doesn't work or she gets out and doesnt want to continue with the treatments then I dont know whats going to happen. Please pray for us. :D

Thank you guys very much! I am trying my hardest to stay strong and be there for my Brother and Mom. But it is soooo hard just bc of the past with her. She has put me through a lot of pain and a lot of tears, and I have no trust for her right now. I guess I should just be thankful that she was willing to go to this place to try to get help. I have to just take one step at a time.. and hope and pray for the BEST!

I will certainly keep you and your brother and mom in my prayer's.
I kinda know what your going threw. I have a grown great
nephew and he has bi-polar and puts his mother threw hell refusing
to take his meds etc. It's a very difficult and disabilating desease.
I hope things work out in your moms best interest so you can
have peace.

We are sending prayers to your family..I know you must be going through a lot right now. I hope your Moms treatment helps. I can't imagine what you are going through or went through growing up with a mom who is bi-polar. Just having people to talk to helps i'm sure. :angel: sending an angel to watch over you.

Honey, I feel for you. My son has bi-polar and refuses medication. You are in my prayers.

:D thank you! just reading your post brought a couple tears to my eyes! I am so emontional screwed up. I can feel myself breaking down. I am lucky enough where I had a great childhood until about 20... still young but at least I had some "normal" years.

Things are going ok right now. I am probably going to go see her tomorrow, or maybe tonight. I am waiting for her Dr to call me and give me more of an update on her status... I will keep you guys posted, if you all would like.

Hey Guys! I just wanted to tell you all Thank you for all that were praying and thinking of me the past month... I just wanted to give you guys an update on my Mom!!

Well last month things got worse!! She got out of the hospital from having CHF, she came to my house to stay and I found drugs in her suitcase, OMG I was shocked...Long story short My brother and I took her to this Loma Linda Medical Behavior place.. she was there for a month in the PSY WARD, then she went to a chemical dependency place.. stayed about a couple weeks ( almost a month) Well now she is in a "sober house" type place with all women and she still goes to her "outpatient" therapy and consuling places She goes like M-f 8am-7pm , she is going to stay there for another week and then she will be able to get out and be on her own.. We had to sell the house she was in bc it was too big and it wasnt in a good nerighbor hood, I am SO glad she is out of that house!!She is going to buy a condo, and still she will have to do her outpatient stuff but she can drive there!!

I am telling you she is like a different person!! I feel like I have my Mom back, on top of that a better Mom. One that is not depressed all the time and sleep all day, wants to fix herself and be a better person and try to do all the normal things that normal Mom's do!! It is GREAT!!! I am so proud of her words can not say! I didnt think she was going to sick in and get better I really didnt, But she did, I could scream I am so happy!! Dh even says that he notices a different person... Also she gets chronic migrains and the Doc was giving her vicodin and methadone... Well she is on NO MORE NARCODICS!!! :cheer: She has this new medicine for her headaches... and they do acupuncture and some suction cup thingy?? Anyways I thought I would share the great news with you guys!! Oh also they said the CHF was probably due to the drug use.. so that is clearing up too and she has been excersising!! She is trying to get a pass to come stay with my next week for thanksgiving!! I hope she can I hope hope hope we can have thanksgiving together!!! Thanks for all you prayers bc it helped!!!

That is such great news!!! I hope your Mom can get out for Thanksgiving. It sounds like she has a great support system!
