Any Black Berry Sorm Users?
 
I currently use the BB Curve but since the Storm 2 is soon to be released I seen the Storm is a good price now at Verizon and was thinking about trying it.

I figure the Storm 2 will come out and there will be glitches and of course the price will be high, so I could just wait till it is around a while and the price drops if I want that one.

I've been reading about the Storm and I'm reading mixed reviews. Ppl either love it or hate it!

Would love you thoughts? Anyone go from the curve to the Storm? What are the differences you like?

I ordered it once I was eligible for my upgrade and I sent it back. I hated it! I couldn't get used to the touch screen, you would hit one thing and something else would come up. I love my Curve though!

Sorry can't help. I really wanted to get one for my son because his middle name is Storm, but AT&T does not carry it.

Hope someone answers with experience soon.

I have had mine about 2 weeks now and I really don't like it that much. It is hard to type on the touch screen the buttons are really small. Some times it freezes up but other than that it has lots of good features. I really only use it for facebook, e-mail and texting.

So you went from having an actual keyboard to the touch. Thats what I'm doing too cuz my Curve has a keyboard.
I'm hoping I like the different touch screen.

the touch screen is very tricky. If you have fake nails it doesn't work if you touch the screen with the nails you have to use your finger. Even turned sideways the buttons are small and I always am mistyping things. I definitely like the actually buttons on the phone.

I agree...that's why I stuck w/the Curve. I was lucky enough to be able to use a friends storm before actually buying one and it just didnt work for me, the touch screen sucked. Supposedly the Storm 2's touch ability is changed but who knows.

I have a BB Pearl and I love it. My husband's phone was stolen and I talked him into the Storm. I hate it!!!! Half the time he doesn't get my calls. I can't type on it because of my fingernails. A friend has a Storm for work and an I-Phone for home and said the touch screen is 100% better on the I-phone. It made me decide I'm definately not getting the Storm when I upgrade.
