Luminess Air?? Need a new foundation... I was wanting to try luminess air airbrush foundation but did not see very many good reviews on it .. I have tried bareminerals and it breaks me out really bad.. i tried another mineral makeup and its ok but I liked the coverage of bareminerals ( before it started making me break out ) better. Can all you ladies share with me what you use for a base/foundation or let me know if you know of an airbrush system that really works.. |
The possible reason your having break outs from Bare Minerals is because it contains bismuth oxychloride............You might have better luck with Everyday Minerals if you like the look of mineral makeup......This is from a site on mineral make up, Everyday Minerals does not contain bismuth. For women with sensitive skin, this is important to note. Bismuth Oxychloride is a by-product of lead mining and can cause skin irritation in some women. Many women who think they can't wear mineral make-up because of itching and breakouts are reacting to bismuth oxychloride. Bismuth Oxychloride is also what gives Bare Minerals foundations their characteristic sheen. The finishing powders of both brands contain zea mays, which can cause itching. Everyday Minerals offers zea mays-free balancing powder and 100% silk powder as alternatives to those who are sensitive to zea mays. |
Yeah! Thats the other mineral makeup that i tried, I did the whole pick 10 for $50 dollars.... I am not too impressed with it either. I might as well give up! :( |
I tried a couple of the "minerals" and was not happy with long term use. Always go back to Estee Lauder. I doubt I will try any others again, time to stick with what works for me. Their products last forever too -- so I think they are actually a very economical decision afterall! |
