I'm back with warning
Hi all. I am back online with a medical warning.
At first I was gone for a little while cause my computer went down but then something happened that caused me to be away from the computer for a lot longer.
I took a clarinex, a common drug that my dr gave me for sinuses. It caused me to have 2 seizures and not know anything for about 4 hrs. My dh did not take me to the hospital (he didn't think to call an ambulance though he had the though he could not get me in the car).He did get the dogs out of the room cause he sd he knew if I hurt them I would not forgive myself. (gotta love him :D) When I cam to, I could not raise myself out of bed. With help I made it to work 2 days later but still was miserable. I went to a nurses pract. with my dr who sd i strained my back and gave me meds. I still could not raise up 2 days later and was in terrible pain. Went to the Er and found I had broken 2 bones in my back. I was off work for 2 months, Thank goodness for family leave act. Still having pain and found I have Osteoporosis and I have several old fractures I knew nothing about.
So I want to warn people about the clarinex. I have been told not to take anything with the name of clari in it.
It says on the package could cause seizures but who really thinks something like that can happen to them.
