I saw E.L.O, in concert when I was in 7th grade. I camped out for Rod Stuart tickets and one of my cousins got me into an "all boys club" in Atlanta to see Donna Summers, that was fun. |

Do you remember how everyone used to click on their lighters and wave them in the air asking for an encore? Can you imagine that happening now? Ha! Now everyone waves their open cell phones. It makes me laugh, but at least it is safer. |
Well you are on lucky lady to have such great kids!! And thank you for the run down memory lane:p Oh the 70's Led Zeppelin, Beatles, CCR, Grand Funk. I will NRVER tell my kids what we did :eek:But take a guess what the kids now listen to and where, yes all the old bands:D I see more shirts with Zeppelin and the Doors now then I did back then. Have a great time and take photos!! |

I'm a "born in the late 50's, rocker of the 70's" kinda girl too! My DH barely made it into the 50's. I love Styx, Bad Company, Grand Funk, Foreigner, Doors, Cream, CCR. I didn't smoke, but had a lighter! I didn't think that Steely Dan did concerts! We see a lot of the "oldie" bands at the county fair. This year we saw Night Ranger. Last year we saw Eddie Money and Grand Funk Railroad with the singer from 38 Special, it was fantastic! Our 22yr old appreciates our oldies rock-n-roll! of course he listens to his "music" (at least its not rap) Donna (an oldie but goodie Yorkie owner) |

Aaaahhhh...the good ol' days. We had some great music didn't we. Back to the Doobie Brothers, just saw them last month and they were great. We have seen them about 4 or 5 times in the last 5 years or so. The best was at "Street Vibrations" in Reno which is where I'm at right now. Gotta go, I'm on my way down to hear some music and play the slots. |
