We should have a forum for Waaaaayyyyy Off Topic! I just used one of those Biore strips and y'all wouldn't believe the crap that came off my nose!!!! And I' a freak about keeping clean! Yuck!!!!!!!!

hehe! you're right! it's quite surprising. I find that they hurt to pull off, though and they pull out all the peach fuzz hair, too! :eek:

haha I used to make a living as an esthetician and spent 10 hours a day cleaning out pores ;) You would really be amazed at the dirt and oil that gets clogged in there! Or if you want to get really gross, try getting blackheads out of people's backs!!!!

You obviously have not hit menopause because, believe me, your peach fuzz gets a helluva lot stronger than a Biore strip! Just thought I'd give you girls something to look forward to! :)

oh boy!!! LOL thanks for that bit of information. I can't wait! NOT. I find now that I am getting older, my face gets oily. I'm washing my face 3 to 4 times a day! I hate it!

Hi Monica :D I've always (it seems) had a problem with oily skin, now that I am getting older it's changing (finally!). You have to be careful not to wash too much. You'll strip your face of natural oils and then it becomes even more oily.

Thanks,,, I've been told this before but I can not stand my face oily. I have tried meny different products but nothing seems to work without irratating my face. I use dove on my face. It's the only thing that doesnt irratate. I hope my skin type will soon change!

Monica, if you will use an OIL-FREE moisturizer, your face will actually become less oily!

Kristy! A licensed esthetician is someone who works in spas doing services such as waxing, facials, maincures/pedicures, make-up, etc....I went to beauty school for 13 months to get licensed in AK ;) I made it a career for 2 years then went back to college.
