Pics of the Painting I did for My Granddaugthers wedding gift

Hello everyone. I thought I would post some pics of the wedding that I did and decorated for my Granddaugther Emily an Her NEW husband Steven. I did all the flowers and decorating of the reception. I also did a painting of them an presented it to them at the reception. I got it done in time. here they are, I am worn out now but at least it was a beautiful wedding.

What a fairy tail wedding day for your granddaughter! You did a beautiful job decorating and your painting is just unbelievable! I thought it was a photograph, it is so life like and perfect.

Emily looks beautiful too ... Congratulations to the new couple and thank you for sharing photos of this wonderful day (now go get some rest) ;)

I had to go back and look twice, I thought they were holding up a picture, not a painting. You did a fantastic job on that! The decorations and flowers looked beautiful. What a nice thing to do for your granddaughter:) You deserve a nice long break!!! Thanks for sharing:)

Thank you all for the wonderful post. It took me at least 6 mths to do the painting. I do have a degree in Art, but it was a loooong time that I started back to painting. My x husband woudln't let me paint (Long story) . So My husband now 0f 15 years encourages me to do it. He loves to watch me paint. I have arthritis bad an my hand don't work like they use to so it is a job for me to paint now. But I still love it!

The piece that you made is AMAZING! I stared at it for a while, knowing you said it was painting but having a hard time believing it was anything other than a photo! :p You do simply stunning work! I'm sure they appreciated it and I can only imagine how wonderful you felt being able to give it to them! Thanks so much for sharing this!!!! :hug:

Since its so unbelievable that I did the painting . hehe.. I tried to get a picture of it out of the frame before I had it professionally framed. Like I said... It took me a while to do it.. But I got it done.. the others is of My Granddaughter an great grandson together( you will noticed it was my first painting in years) and my Husband an great grandson.

Once I glued some elbow macaroni to a piece of cardboard and spray painted it gold. It was in the shape of an angel, for Christmas. :D

Seriously, you have an amazing talent. Hats off to you. Have you ever done any of your Yorkie?
