Oh she is so pretty! She resembles the one I used to have but mine was just a regular Himalayan :)

AWE I love snowshoes.
She is a persian not a color point(himamlayan) Daddy was a Flame point and Mommy was a solid black with orange eyes. Her Mama was the silkiest blackest I have ever seen. Solid Oil black with big ORANGE eyes .
Her daddy was flamepoint who was very very full coat with deep orange points and blue blue eyes.
She was the only persian. Her littermates were flamepoint and 2 silver chinchillas.

And just in case I am confusing anybody...LOL.. Persian and Himalayan are basically the same family with different colorings. A Himalayan is a Colorpoint Persian , which means usually White with colored ears feet and tails and blue eyes. Just like humans can have different colorings and and we say blondes and brunettes but they are both humans

LOL.. I forgot.. we have birds ,cats, dogs, and ....LIZARDS.
I am such an animal lover and spoil them all. Everybody is used to eachother so we all get along. Just with so many children that everybody has there own thing.
LOL.. My vet lives quite comfortably off us alone I think....LOLOLOLOLOL

New Home
 
Well Fairy has found a home. The lady is driving here today from Massachusetts(WOW quite a long drive). I emailed the agreement to her and she faxed it back to me signed. As soon as I told her that Fairy was now available she made plans to come right away.

That's great news!!!! Sure do wish you could take a pic and post before she goes!!! I'm sure you are going to miss her:( Thanks for letting us know! It's amazing how far people will drive for a pet:) That says something about a person in itself :) I hope her new home is a wonderful as yours!!

Just found your post. I live not too far from the PA/MD line. Would've loved to have seen your little Fairy!! Always a day late :( Where in MD do you live? I live in Etters which is in York County. Nice to know a YTer is close by :D

I'm about 45 minutes from center of York. If you go down RT. 30 you can go to THAT PET PLACE . Have you ever been there?

So you're just over the Maryland line? How great!! Yes, my hubby and I love to go there whenever we're heading over to Lancaster. Love that store. They have so much cute stuff and so many different critters to look at!! :D
Did your little Fairy meet her new Mommy today? I'm feeling for you if she did...I'm sure you're missing her :( Maybe we should meet up sometime since we're near each other. Would LOVE to show off my Piper and see your babies :p

Just so you guys know...LOL. That Pet Place is not a pet store with dogs ;)

They have lizards and birds and some other creepy crawly creatures. They also have PAWS or some other charity organization based in there with rescues at certain times.

Velobabe.... if you take another pet store or pet supplies couponinthere they will honor it. I just used a $5 tracter supply dog food coupon(for Nutro) and a 20% off coupon on a dog bed from a local pet shop. They honored them both which was especially nice for the food since they already are cheap on the dog food.

WOW...that's nice to know. I never knew that. We don't get over there as often as I'd like to but will keep that in mind. Thanks for the info. Is that much of a hike for you? I'd love to get a tarantula but my hubby is deathly afraid of anything with 8 legs :eek:
