OMG i'm such a whimp
 
So i just started watching the movie "the strangers". i watched the first 20 minutes or so and so far nothing scary has happened. its just the creepy music and the knocking on the door. I know something is gonna happen and its freaking me out. So now i just saw the man in the background inside the house. i had to turn the movie off. LOL i can't take it.

I love scary movies but i just cannot do this one right now. i'm home alone and its 10:30 at night. Later i'll have to take morgan outside and i don't think i'll be able to do it if i continue to watch this movie. I'm such a whimp LOL

I am the SAME way. LOL!! I hate scary movies (alone anyways). I am such a chicken and will start hearing things!

i turned the movie back on and am now watching it through my fingers. i don't know why i had to turn it back on. i cannot help myself. i wonder if morgan can hold it till morning. LOL

well i just finished watching it. kinda disappointed now that its over. the beginning was so nerve wracking and tense but the ending kinda blew. hmph...all that nail biting for nothing.

still a little worried about going outside LOL i need to watch cartoons or something for a little while haha

It is like a train wreck. You do not want to watch but you just cannot help yourself.
I love horror also but can never watch it anymore.

I watched that a LONG time ago and that is supposed to be a true story :eek:
They supposedly never caught who did it, I think they move from state to state/ I hope I am wrong , but I remember reading it was true.

i luv scary movies .. but it freaks me out to point i sleep with all lights in the house on if I'm home alone :rolleyes:

yeah it is a true story. they say that in the beginning of the movie. THATS what makes it so much scarier and why it took me forever last night to talk morgan outside to potty. eventually we did and then ran the hell back inside and thru the bottom deadbolt on the door. LOL

This is the scene in the beginning when i quickly turned the movie off Photos from The Strangers you see the guy in the background. omg

Have you watched When a Stranger Calls? Oh man, if you love horror watch that one! Scared me to death! Well it wasn't that scary but it was nerve wracking! I loved it! :D

P.S. This is the GO CHECK ON THE CHILDREN one :D

no this is the one where the two people come home after a wedding and there are people in masks already in their house. the first 30 minutes are scary as hell because YOU know they are in the house but the two people don't.

When that movie first came out, I couldn't even watch the previews!!!! I fell asleep with the TV on the other night and woke up and guess what was on???!!! THE STRANGERS!!! I turned it off right away and couldn't go back to sleep..I can't watch those kind of movies at all!!!!!!!!!!

Omg I saw that movie! So freaky! At the end, or maybe it's the beginning...it says "inspired by true events" or whatever...so of course I had to look into it. The director said he wrote the story w/ the Manson Family members in mind, and the crimes they'd commit as a group. This move was scary, but the ending was kind of a letdown, for some reason...

[trivia....I went to high school w/ Charles Manson's son, his name was Brian. His Mom, Shelly, was one of the Manson girlfriends who shaved her head and went to trial/prison and all that. She was from my hometown. Brian was a very nice, gentle person - and I think his life turned out okay. Anyway, just made me think of him after all these years...]

WHAT!!!! Ann, thats just crazy. I'm glad Brian turned out normal. What a sad life he must live to have a father like that.

omg ann that's so creepy to have lived in the same town as them and to have went to school with Brian. glad he turned out normal at least.

no haven't seen the Messengers yet either. I don't rent videos. i wait till they're played on one of my many HBO, Starz, or Encore channels so its kinda hit and miss.

just watched the trailers for when a stranger calls and the messengers. i will definitely NOT be watching those tonight. LOL i was tempted but thank god i didn't find them on hulu

I watched the messengers. I was sooo freaked out! I had to turn it off when she sat down to pick up the laundry and the door opens she looks at it, turns away again and it grabs her. And the little baby was watching! Oh gosh! I was so scared, I finally turned it back on and stopped it when she came out of the wall. I jsut didn't have the guts to finish it. Ahhh! Scariest movie ever!!!

Once a friend came over and we watched a scary movie together. After she left and I was all alone, I was so petrified I couldn't even move off the couch. Wouldn't even let my feet touch the floor because I was terrified something would grab my ankles! I stayed on my cold leather couch all night (with a full bladder, mind you :p) until the sun rose!
