Never heard of anything like this. Certainly sounds like a scam. Can't beleive anyone would have a problem finding someone on their own. I would have to say "no,no, keep away". My boys are police ...they agree with me! (scary in itself) |
yeah, that just sounds like a scam, i'd say just to ignore it |
For sure it's a scam - flush it and forget it. Good luck |
You really should not open email unless you know who it's from. Lots of these contain viruses. Remember, do not respond even if it is just a scam. |
Haven't got that one but I did get one saying that I have been selected to be heir to $16 million -- all I have to do is reply with all my personal information and they will take care of me! Ha! I'll bet they will! I get one about helping to deposit millions about every other week too. This may not be as far fetched as my emails, but I think it is just as much a scam. |

I gave my email address to someone, and they gave it to someone starting another forum. From that time on, my e-mail address has been worthless. I get all types of scam letters such as this, and some forums will sell your email address, and believe or not, they pay a nice price for each active email address, especially since we are considered a target market for some. By the way, Yorkietalk doesn't sell their email addresses, and you should check out other forums privacy policies in regards to this. In doubt, just give out a google email address, and you will know who sold you out. |

This is no longer true. From what I have read, it is possible to get a virus from just opening an email. I've been told not to use the preview pane in my program just for that reason. |
