you might want to visit AZ first to see if you would like living there. i really love living in bay area though! :D (i know you do too! :p )
also, even though house prices fell, but it really hasn't fallen as much here as it has in other states, and i believe it's due to the job market. | You're totally right! Pay is less in AZ than it is here.
I've done the cost of living calculators you can find on certain websites. It's SHOCKING! House prices are 56% cheaper. Overall Scottsdale is 45% cheaper. (This will make up for the HIGH energy bills.)
We have thought of renting, in order to stay in this area. But we have two dogs, which makes it difficult. Also, we want to roll the equity we have in our current home into another property.
Luckily I've had the chance to visit the Scottsdale area many times. There is a lot that the area has to offer. For one thing, no fog! ;) |
