LG Voyager HELP!!!!
 
Okay, so like last Friday, I got a new LG voyager because the one we got of ebay was broken. So, it's a replacment but it was just amazing! I dropped it once last night and took the battery out and it was fine. Then today, we are waiting to pay at the pools lobby, and I dropped it on the tile floor! The screen is black both of them, but the lights on the keypads work, I can turn it on and make calls and here the calls just fine jsut no screen!


I took the battery out and put it back in so many times. I'm gonna be killed! If I killed this phone too. I'm pretty sure Verizon is not gonna be happy that I need another new one! Is there anything I can do?

I don't think they will replace it for you since you dropped it. That's not covered under the manufacturer warranty.

I use to have the voyager and loved it but got the blackberry storm.

I think I may have my old 1st edition voyager around my house somewhere. Let me know if you're interested?

Do you have the insurance on it? They will replace it so many times (I think 3) a year for $50 if you have the insurance plan. If not ouch!!! Sorry!

The insurance is the one that first replaced this one. We are gonna call them and ask about it being replacd again. If not I will definatle contact you RDB911

Good news! They are sending me anther one for free because apparently they are having a problem with the new phones and the old software. So they are sending me one with a "patch"??? Weird, but they said that if I dropped it, both screens wouldn't have gone black.

I'm so happy for you that it all got worked out. :)

Do you have the regular one or the titanium one? If you're like me, well, I drop my phone more than I carry it in my hand. LOL. I have a very small crack in the screen, but other than that it is in tip top shape. I LOVE the voyager, so I'll get it as long as they keep making it. Next time you get a new one (hopefully after you've had this one a good long while :p), you might look into getting the titanium one! :D

I have the black one with updated software so it's just like the Titanium one but it's black. (Or so they say) :D I also love my Voyager. I got it after I had my peice of crap LG Env2. I think I had about 5 or 6 of those. :rolleyes:

LOL my friend Nick murders phones (he's gone through like 5 of the titanium voyagers), and in about a year he went through probably 10 EnVs. it got to be pretty amusing. We started taking bets on how long his newest phone would last. =P

Thats fun LOL :) I dropped my Env2's alot and they just decided to freeze when I pushed the space button, front key's didn't work, I cant remember what else :)

I like the Voyager, but something always seems to go wrong with them. I'm on my second one and my husband is on his third one. One tip: Be gentle with the charger port on the phone. It can come loose if it gets wiggled too much. Its a design flaw I guess.
