He finally listened!!!
 

I've been telling BIL for forever that he shouldn't feed his two dogs crap food. His bull terrier has open sores all over his legs. BIL says it's b/c the flies bite him and he scratches the bites till they are raw. I've told him to take him to the vet to get them checked out and he never did.

Well he went to walmart yesterday to get some flea stuff (great place to get some :rolleyes:) and he said there was this lady in the pet aisle. As soon as he grabs the flea stuff she tells him "I wouldn't get that" and goes on to explain why the cheap stuff is no good, and cheap food is no good, etc. He's like, Ok lady you're crazy. But she keeps talking and talking and finally it started to make sense to him. She tells him about corn, wheat etc how it attracts flies that's why he's getting bit so bad. and told him about this website to check out. And then she turns around to another couple there and goes "did you guys hear what I said?" and goes on the explain to them as well.

As soon as he got home he told us about this lady and he jumped on the website right away, and finally he's like ok you were right all along. I told him about how milk bones can get those wormy things in them, etc. and not to give Uni any of that crap he gives his dogs. I gave him two sample packs of solid gold that I had and his dogs scarfed it up. Hopefully I will see a new bag of good quality dog food for them tonight!

I'm like this close to becoming a crazy lady myself, but at least another crazy lady got him to his senses.

Isn't it interesting how coming from a total stranger...they sometimes will listen...for a change! :rolleyes:
