A near miracle What a beautiful site to see that plane land in LAX without incident. It was as near a miracle as I might seen. I am so happy that CNN kept coverage on the entire episode. All on board were safe and unharmed.. There was some discussion about the position passengers are instructed to assume. I have laughed so many times-my sense of humor borders on Macabre- about why they cannot identify more people after a crash. It did have to do with that position. They now say to put your hands on the back of the seat in front and lean your head forward onto your arms. Makes more sense than the old way.. |
I caught a clip on our local news...wow. It is a true blessing things turned out so well. |
 i missed it ....... what happened |
It was pretty intense out here... all the local channels had it on the news starting about 3:45 or so. Of course, I'm thinking about a flight I had taken from Burbank a couple of weeks ago -- and just imagining how I'd feel being on that plane. Just as the plane was touching down -- right before the front landing gear touched down... someone knocked at my door and I missed the initial coverage. It was so great to see the plane landed safely with no problems. I'd say someone was sure looking out for everyone on the plane! |
It was mighty nerve wracking. I'm so glad it turned out ok |
On the news today, they had a message that a guy on the plane made for his wife,,, he thought he was a goner... can you imagine?! I can't. Glad it had a happy ending. |
That minute while they were touching down was so intense!!! Whew! I was So nervous for those people! Thank goodness that pilot was so awesome! |
i saw it on the news last night (after the fact) and i was disturbed to see that the newspeople were interviewing people that had driven up to LAX and STOPPED on teh freeway to get a good view... and people who were looking from other places..... Those people that they interviewed were happy that the ending wwas ok... but you know they just went there to see a plane blow up :( |
