Just got home from Hollywood Bowl, saw Faith Hill. She was sooooooo good! Don't know how I will unwind and go to bed! Why do you have to stay up?

I'm up ~ need to get my butt to bed though.. have to work in the A.M...oh, wait...it is the a.m... I say go to bed. If you haven't seen any reactions, you probably won't by now.. Its almost 4 am my time.

I'm being overly cautious (realllllllly overly cautious) because of her history.
She's fine, but... I want to be up in case she needs anything/doesn't feel well. :):rolleyes:

What about putting her in bed next to you. If Mia is sick she seems to wake me up. Like the one time she wanted to throw up.......ick what do you do then? In bed, yuck. You may have guessed it.....I caught it in my hands. Oh man the things we do for our dogs. I hope your baby is ok tonight. did you do the benedryl thingy to lessen the effects?

OH thanks! Yes it was a wonderful evening. Perfect weather, no sweater needed, good people and good music. So much fun!

That's where she sleeps every night, but I have heard enough horror stories and want to be safe.:) She AM I woke up and she started dry heaving in bed.:rolleyes: Good thing about Yorkies is you can hold them over the garbage can.

I had to wear a hoodie during the hottest part of the day today.

Some of the puppies that I raised earlier had really violent vaccine reactions too. They finally put a note on the Mother's chart at the vets. The puppies would get really sick, start vomiting and then sort of froth at the mouth. The stud that I had then must have passed along that trait, because now that I have a different one the puppies don't seem to have any reactions.

I know what you mean about worrying. I took Baby in last week for her rabies shot. She's only 2 1/2 pounds and I worried for two days over her. The little stinker never showed the slightest reaction. I don't think she even noticed when the vet gave her the shot. Maybe that was because my vet uses a vaccine that can be given sub-q instead of intra-muscular.

She is happily snoring on my lap.

I'm sure she'll be happy when I stop checking her gums.:rolleyes:

2:00am CA time. Just got home. Hubby and I do a night on the town with the friends once a month. Had a great time tonight. WAKE UP!!! (Hope that helped).

What a good mommy you are. Oh how we worry over our babies. Mia started coughing and reverse sneezing about 10 days ago. It has worked it's way down to just sneezing. I thought she may of caught kennel cough from a rescue. Thank God it is not that. Now we think it is just allergies. Vet bills, sleepless nights. Little kisses and wagging tails make it all worth it!

Hope your girl continues to sleep through her shots, with minimal side effects.
I am gonna try to sleep finally!!

I think a nap is on the agenda this afternoon.
Somebody watched Ellie for awhile a little bit ago and I did get an hour or so in. Crystal gets pretty cranky with no sleep. :)

I feel like having Olive Garden today.

OMG, Crystal, Im just seeing this. You poor thing. Ellie is going to be fine.That Rabies shot is so political. Get this,my vet is in Dallas County and they require rabies yearly, I live in Collin County and they require 3 year shot Its all so stupid because this shot is very harsh on small breeds. Good Luck Im sure Ellie is going to be fine, she is in great hands. Im usually up at 3am for work but on weekends I get to sleep late. Go have some Olive Garden. I love the soup and salad. :aimeeyork:aimeeyork

She was doing okay and I got pretty sleepy, so we took a couple hour nap together. :) I'm still trying to figure this out. At times she can be very sensitive but she isn't even lethargic from this.

Yup, there is state law and there the counties can require it more often if they feel like it.:rolleyes: Ellie's vet felt strongly that she would not have a reaction to it because the rabies vaccine is killed. She personally has never or almost never seen anaphylatic shock with it...

I always love reading how much these little furbabies are loved. They sure have a way of taking over our hearts and souls. I always worry about Lexi too...and anytime she has to go to the vets for anything I become more glued to her afterwards.
