My friend's house was broken into today.
 

The only thing taken was her elderly shih-tzu who is in poor health. Please pray for this little dog's safe return.

that is SO sad. :( I will have everyone in my prayers. Including the robbers - I hope they have a change of heart and bring back the sweet dog. :(

Oh no!!! I hope they get her back!

Two guys tried to jump into our backyard yesterday! Good thing my BIL was home and saw them, they ran away. They got scared of the bull terrier back there I guess (he looks mean but he's not). And Uni was home all day by herself yesterday before BIL came home!!! They could have gotten her!!!! I don't even want to think of what could have happened!

oh my.. I prayer this dog gets back home again.. this is pretty sad really. an older dog.. grrrrrrr

I feel so sorry for her. We had a scare last weekend. My hubby bought some Tequilla the weekend before, and had only made two drinks. He went in the cupboard and it was gone along with some real expensive Vodka someone gave us. We thought we were getting really forgetful, then we noticed out on the patio where I go smoke, there were ashes but no butts. Well we immediate thought of one of the teenage kids next door but had no proof. Then it dawned on me Friday I was sitting making out bills and I heard the door handle move, the dogs went crazy, I finished thinking it was probably my step dad coming in. Then nothing. Sat morning my hubby tells the older kid next door, someone has been in our house, and he was getting the shotgun out, knowing he'd probably say something, then we changed the locks (hubby used to keep a hidden key). Sun the dad comes over, the older kid did say something to the teenager, he went off and tried choking his brother, cops came, arrested him and the Vodka was in his possession. He's in juvenile hall now, but the thought of him in my house with all my dogs is horrifying to say the least. Sorry I was so winded, Im very sorry for your friends dog

They haven't found out anything more. Brenda thinks it is probably a worker who had been in recently doing some painting on her house. When he took Betsy (the shih tzu), he left $130 cash that was laying out in the open, a laptop and several other valuables that would've been so easy for a burglar to take. The ONLY thing missing is Betsy, and there is no way for Betsy to have gotten out of her crate & then out of the house on her own.

Instead, he took Brenda's baby girl. Betsy has severe seizures and requires her medication regularly. She also has IBS & is on a special diet, has arthritis & doesn't get around well, is hypothyroid & needs medicine for that, too. Brenda is posting pics on Craigslist, the local newspaper, around her neightborhood, etc.

Brenda has no information about this man and hasn't been able to locate anyone yet who does have info.

Betsy is a tiny little 4 pound sweetheart. Brenda takes her to work with her everyday. She was only at home alone yesterday because Brenda had a Dr. appt. Everyone, please pray for the safety of Betsy and for Brenda to find her soon.

This is so sad. Please continue to keep up posted. I pray for her safe return.

This is so sad!

A local petshop just had a Shih Tzu puppy stolen a few weeks back. They got the person on camera and the local news station reported it. A few weeks later, they had the puppy back.

It's so sad that you can't let anyone into your house without fear of them seeing something they might like. How horrible is the world now!!:mad:

Ugh that breaks my heart to hear! They could of stolen anything but chose the poor dog! oh my god. That is terrible. I bet their just waiting for the reward posters to come up... :mad: some people have no heart!

Tell your friend to try and remember who she told about her doctor\'s appt. It may have clued someone in that her precious doggy was home alone.
