Back to school stuff....what?
 
I couldn't believe my eyes. I was in walmart yesterday and they have 2 isles of back to school stuff out. :eek: Notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, glue sticks, lunch pails. You have to understand our children up here in the north are still in school. This is their last week. Talk about pushing things.

Wow! Still in school? I'm a teacher and I've already had two weeks off. I'm starting to gear up for summer school/camp. I don't even want to THINK about fall yet!

Usually right after fourth of july sales I see the school supplies in stock. God forbid you don't pick up your supplies then. It's all gone closer to school.

I know. Their last day is Thursday for the elementary kids. The middle and high school was out last week. They only had to go in for regents tests. HS graduations is this Saturday. I really hate when the stores push things. I bet in a few weeks they will have Halloween and fall stuff out. You can not even enjoy the season you're in because they are pushing the next one. By the time it really gets here your sick of it already.:mad: I know you are forced to buy it when they have it or else you get the crap that's left. Can't find a bathing suit in the summer and can't find a winter coat in the winter because they push the next season. I hate it.

:D That is so true. I live in queens and friday is the last day for the kids. I am supposed to be chucking school supplies not trying to shop for new ones.

This is ridiculous! I just got out today and there's already back to school stuff out! it's like jeeeez people! Let me have a summer first, eh?
