Those are both harmless spiders but we have also had several black widows in our garage. My mom keeps getting them in her mailbox. She said one more and she is putting up a new box. Hers is in brick. My DH was bitten by a brown recluse here too -- that was a horrid ordeal! Left a gaping hole and he was sick for a very long time. So any spider at all creeps me out. I would rather squish first and then worry about what kind. We have too many bad boys here. Attaching the wikipedia wolf spider pic: |

UGH! omg..I really hate them...they make me shiver just thinking about them...we don't get really huge ones over here...although i have seen the odd abnormally large house spider occasionally.:eek: |

1 Attachment(s) Hi all, this is Kenny, Debra's hubby...Great topic ! Yeh it looks like a Wolf Spider to me as well, although my interest is in Tarantulas. Glad to see Chattiesmom and Cheryl like spiders as well, spiders are misunderstood lol.
