The light at the end of the tunnel...
 
Right now my vacation is less than a month away (I escape on July 10th!) and I feel like it is soooooo close yet sooooo far away! Does anyone have any ideas on how to pass the time for the next month? :confused:

Oh, man! You live in MS where it is hot and sticky. Want to get away from all that? How about a cabin in the Smoky Mountains? My family lives around Macon, MS so I know all about the heat in mid-summer.:eek: They vacation in the Smoky Mountains. ~Joanne~

Haha I hear ya! Our vacation isn't till the 17th so I've got to wait 7 days longer than you do. Where are you going?

Ugh it is UNBEARABLY hot and sticky. I love the mountains but we're going a little farther this year... ;)

We're combining our vacation with the 2009 Meetup in Alexandria. But since it's so close we've got tons of fun planned in D.C. too!

Where's your vacation destination?

Spend the next month on YT of course! That should help the time pass:D No holiday for me this year:( Although thankfully we're not too far from the coast so we're planning on spending some days at the beach with the kids and lots of walks out with our furbabies:) (weather permitting of course - this is England we're talking about!)

We're combining our vacation with the 2009 Meetup in Alexandria. But since it's so close we've got tons of fun planned in D.C. too!

Oh y'all are going to have so much fun!!! We're going to St. Croix but I think to tide me over I'm going to take my daughter on a little mini 2 day trip to Blowing Rocks which is only about 1 1/2 hours from me. Haha, so that's how I'm biding my time- planning another trip!:D

Ooooo sounds like fun!

To be honest though between planning the meetup for everyone and planning our personal vacation time, I'm not too keen to even think about planning another trip anytime soon. Not that all the planning isn't superfun, but it's also hard work!
