I'm so, so sorry Brenda. It isn't easy even being in a position to have to make those decision, especially when a little baby's life was lost in the process. It definitely sounds like you were & are doing everything you can to get KiKi the best care & home possible. Although a tough one, I thnk you did the right thing & bless the trainer for working with you the way she is/has.. I'm glad she's somewhere where you can always go visit... Hugs to both of you! |
Brenda - I am so sorry to hear this. I remember meeting Kiki last year and she wasn't aggressive at all with all the other doggies around - just a delightful girl who loved to be loved on. I hope she will have a happy life at her new forever home. |
Brenda you did the right thing. The right thing is not always the easiest or least painful thing. Kikki will be better off getting the training that makes her a better dog also. I know your heart is breaking and mine is breaking for you. Maybe you can get Kikki's owner to join the site here and keep us all posted and updated on her progress! :) |
Brenda, I'm so sorry that you have had such a rough time with Kikki. I know how stressful and emotionally exhausting it is having an aggressive yorkie - I have been through it myself and sadly I ended up taking him back to the rescue and they in turn took him to be trained. It is not easy to make the decision to rehome them, but in certain circumstances it is definitely the best decision for them. |
Brenda, I just have to say that I so agree with everyone on this. I am sorry you have had to go through this but it seems like your solution is best for all concerned. Kikki will be happier too with no other small dogs to compete with. Hugs, Lou |
