I love #2 but the still may show everything. You know what I mean, I think #3 is the best for someone that is + size. It looks great on the Model and she look bigger. Never pick a dress and how it looks on a skin thing, then put it on someone that is not. It never works,

I got another email from YT wanting me to come back because I have not posted in a while. I just posted a week or two ago! So, I thought I would update this thread. The long dress came, it will need many alterations if I am to wear it. Unfortunately, it is very hot and heavy, the dress has a lot of crenoline which was not apparent from the photo. I think it is way too much dress for me. I still have it, with little time left for alterations if I decide to keep it. I got another one, custom ordered that should be here within the next week or so. It is also long, no crenoline and if it fits will probably be the one. If not, the good news is I did not pay much for it and I have been losing weight so the short dress is still an option. I never realized how much work eloping would be! I'll pop back in soon and let you all know what the dress decision is. Here is a bad photo of the dress in route.

LOL When I first opened this thread, I saw that it was started a couple months ago & thought maybe you'd gotten married already. I was all ready to make my choice on the first 3. Glad you came back to update...

I love the new dress. It is gorgeous! Congratulations on your upcoming nupitals. When's the big day?

The big day is "soon". We are eloping, it is a secret. My fiance's parents know the month, but not the day. We will surprise them with an email with us in our wedding clothes inside a limo!

If it gets to late to return something just sell it online, you may take a little loss on it but if it's new with tags and unaltered it will sell!

I think 2 would be very slimming as it is cut with a cascading effect. Have it touched up if needed. Ordering without trying it on is always a question mark but I'm sure it will be lovely. Enjoy your wedding day, your smile and sparkling eyes will put your outfit in second place on that special day.

The dress in route turned out to be a major disappointment. It did not fit right and it looks really cheap, so up for sale it goes on Ebay, along with the two others I could not return. So now, I still have the short white lace dress, and two more long dresses on order. I so hope one of the long dresses fits. If not, I have decided I will wear the short white one. I have a girdle on order for that! Guys have it so easy. Go to Men's Wearhouse. Tell them what the wedding colors are. Get measured. Rent tux, shoes, cuff links and pick them all up at the destination, all pressed and ready to wear. And women? Try fifty thousand dresses and hope you find one you really love! I feel as though I am about to turn into Bridezilla. If only I were 5'9" and a size 10 or 12, all would be wonderful. So here are pictures of the remaining two dresses yet to arrive.

If it were me, I would prefer A. in white. B. would increase your size-I know that big is beautiful but not today. The neckline on C. with the half veil would probably be off-balanced. Really the dress doesn't matter just the two people in love. May your marriage be wonderful. I have been married for thirty-four years and it has been great (a bump in the road occasionally). Awww. sorry the dress didn't work out. Out of these 2, I like the 2nd one. I hope this time all works out...

You're right..men do have it easy. I mean, it's fun to try on dresses & I love to shop but in a case like this, it can get a little frustrating. Good luck!
